Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.

Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.

Bivouac is where guests can get away from the chaos of city life to explore, share and enjoy the quintessence of our nature, all during a meal.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the 6th floor of Complexe Desjardins.
In summer, the Bivouac Terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and is perfectly located to enjoy the lively Place des Festivals. In winter, the Refuges du Bivouac offer to set up a camp for an evening under a beautifully decorated and heated dome that can accommodate up to 10 people, in the heart of the entertainment district.

Gigot d'agneau pas tendre.
C'était une soirée où il y avait des groupes donc c'était bruyant. Pas tant de choix de vins rouges au verre.

Nos entrées: pétoncles, ordinaires. Tartare de boeuf bon mais trop tomaté. Plats très bons, canard & filet mignon.
Bémol: trop bruyant, nous nous attendions à une ambiance plus cosy.
Notre serveur, Maxime, très compétent.

Excellent restaurant, les plats sont savoureux, originaux & travaillés. Le personnel est très agréable. Seul bémol : c'est un peu bruyant. Mais je recommande fortement.

Bonne cuisine. Service rapide & efficace.
Salle un peu bruyante, mais on a remarqué ce défaut dans beaucoup de restaurants.
Un GROS bémol : la carte ! C'est écrit si petit avec un lumière si faible qu'il est IMPOSSIBLE de lire le détail des plats, à peine le titre. On a même vu des convives utiliser la lampe de leur téléphone portable pour arriver à déchiffrer le menu ! Heureusement qu'on avait consulté le menu sur internet avant de venir...

Excellent service de la part de Gabriel. Nourriture excellente & bien présentée. Beau cadre mais bruyant. Éclairage très très tanisé. Heureusement notre serveur Gabriel a placé un petit fanal à chaque extrémité de notre table de sorte que l'on pouvait admirer nos plats.....

Bon service & excellente nourriture. Merci d'avoir inclut un choix de bières locales de qualité! Par contre, L'endroit est très bruyant. On entend beaucoup les conversations alentours & la musique au bar.

Espace très bien aménagé, chic & chaleureux; pas tros bruyant (mais nous sommes allées très tôt, de 17h30 à 19h30 . Service sympathique & efficace. Nourriture vraiment excellente! Bémol: la liste des vins: plusieurs options vin québécois (ce qui est très bien) dont un très bon chardonnay; mais pas assez d'options si on veut des classiques francais & italiens dans le rouge & le blanc: il faudrait vraiment améliorer cet aspect, surtout considérant le niveau gastronomique de leur menu

Bien situé (vue sur l'esplanade de la PdA), belle ambiance, pas trop bruyant (achalandage modéré pour un mardi soir), excellent service, plats variés bien pensés, à partir d'ingrédients du terroir, belles présentations, bon goût.
