The food was DELICIOUS, it was a 5 Star culinary experience. Thank you very much!! The tiramisu & apple dessert took the flavor experience on the next level!View more
Charged us a lot of money for the bread… opening appetizer had a bug along the plate rim & I said there's a bug he said it's not my problem 😭 beef tongue was tender but SO SALTY it's like been marinating for too long or something. Pasta had three shrimps in total too much carbs not enough seafood. The eel had literally no flavor like it quite literally just tasted like salt in eel. Tiramisu was pretty liked the crunchy cookie in it but really nothing stood outView more
Excellent food & quick service
The capress entry was delicious. I had the duck, & my friend took the paste. It's amazing. We ordered the tiramisu, fantastic as well.
We will come back.View more
To say we saved the best to last, does not serve this restaurant justice…
This was our fourth, & last evening in Venice, so I wanted somewhere special, & it did not disappoint!
The blend of location, decor, atmosphere, service, & quality is wonderful!
The knowledge, & proudly explained description of each item was superb!
Yes, it is high class, but the waiters were not in the slightest bit snooty, but very friendly & happy to share a joke!
I mentioned to the waiter that I had found it odd that the best Tiramisu I've ever had was actually in Spain, & not Italy… he politely explained that Tiramisu is always subject to interpretation… & then serves me with what was not only the best Tiramisu I've had, but the most amazing dessert, full stop!
A truly wonderful culinary experience, thank you… absolutely the correct decision to have booked for our last evening in beautiful Venezia!View more
Unfortunately, our experience at Bistrot de Venise was not what we had hoped for. The fault is entirely ours, we came across the restaurant on a blog we usually trust, & although we had some doubts, we decided to go ahead & give it a try.
It's undeniably difficult in Venice to explore something new without ending up in what feels like a classic tourist trap. While there was nothing wrong with the experience, it simply wasn't the kind of place or atmosphere we personally seek out when in Venice.
A small note for the record: tiramisù.. while a popular dessert, is not a historic dish & certainly not a Venetian one.View more
The spaghetti with pesto sauce was delicious & cooked to perfection.🩷 The main course featured stewed ox knee, which had a large bone in the center, consisting of about half meat & half tendon. The dessert was tiramisu, which was a bit ordinary. Overall, the meal was perfect.🥰View more
What a delightful place. The service is amazing. The staff is so professional & genuine. The food is amazing. I appreciated the wine list that gave some great affordable options which is not often the case in a high end restaurant. Recommend the baked eel & tiramisu.View more
View more
Every dish is a work of art. The vegan pasta, panna cotta, & tiramisu are worth the visit to Italy alone!View more
I went there with my wife in order to have our first Michelin restaurant experience & we were not disappointed. We ordered the tiramisu, the panacotta & bistrot cocktails. The cocktails were nicely presented & the quantities of alcohol were good measured, we both enjoyed it. The panacotta was incredible, the tastes are very ingenious & the lavender ice cream was simply amazing. Also, the tiramisu was very tasty, with nice textures, the tastes very balanced in order to give a beautiful experience. Also, the service was very attentive but keep in mind they charge you mandatory 10% surcharge. We would come back againView more
This is one of the finest restaurants I have ever dined at. We enjoyed the 4 course option which included the sweet & sour prawns with spiced onions & the sturgeon marinated in mull wine. Both were exquisite. These appetizers were followed by Durum Wheat Pasta & Scampi with a heavenly chili pepper oil & the Homemade Bronze Drawn Spaghettoni with butter & anchovy cream. Al dente superbness. The third course was Orange & Rosemary flavored Lamb & Duck Breast'Pervada', both entrees sous vied, then baked to tender perfection. The encore desserts were the best Tiramisu & Crème Brûlée either of us had ever experienced. The evening was capped off with a sit down visit by the owner. He explained their 30 year quest to find & reproduce ancient 13th & 14th century Venetian recipes. This is a humble family, dedicated to their craft. We will return to Bistrot de Venise every time we return to Venice.View more
Dining at Bistrot de Venise was an unforgettable experience. The elegant street setup created a romantic atmosphere, & the service was impeccable. The food was the highlight. The prawns in soar were juicy & flavorful, & the ravioli with herbs was delightful. The lasagna was a nostalgic treat, creamy & beefy like my mother's. The duck was exceptional. The tiramisu was the perfect finish. Despite its Michelin star, the prices were reasonable, & the portions were satisfying. We ordered three appetizers, one first course, two mains, & two desserts. Every dish was a winner. Highly recommended for a top-notch dining experience without breaking the bank.View more
Excelent service & the food is too amazing. The lasagna is incredible & I had the best tiramisu of my lifeView more
A truly exceptional dining experience. This is a restaurant run by people who clearly love what they do & take immense pride in it. The food is absolutely exceptional, from the starters down to the Tiramisu (which is very likely the best I've ever had anywhere). They also have excellent vegan options, which is much appreciated. The waiters are incredibly well mannered; charming, elevated, informative & friendly. The atmosphere feels like you're tucked into a historic Venetian hideaway. Their ingredient selection is so good that we had to buy some olive oil to take home. This is fine dining done perfectly, & I loved it.View more
Eravamo 10 colleghi. Sempre sorridente. L'antipasto era uno dei migliori. E il primo!! Just wow!! View more
Worthy of Michelin recognized excellence. The food puts a unique modernization to Venitian tradition. Everything is presented beautifully, even the gorgeous water bottles. A delicate amuse bouche added to a perfect meal. Everyone was warm, hospitable & professional. Dara added many laughs to the experience. So good we went back a second time. Recommend the prawns, Linguine alla "Buzara", Spaghettoni with cuttlefish in "Black",Tiramisu & the Panna Cotta but I can't imagine anything on the menu not to be wonderful. If you are in Venice, this is a must try.View more
My wife & I came here to celebrate our 4th anniversary & our experience was truly magical. Our cameriere—as well as the supporting staff—was exceptional. We speak only a little Italian, but he was very patient, encouraging, friendly, & professional! In addition to the outstanding service, the food was truly divine. Every dish was inspired & perfectly executed. While each course was delicious, my wife & I agreed that the anchovy starter,
langua salmistrada, & tiramisu each stood out as particularly special; indeed, each ranked at the top of all the dishes we’ve tried at high-end restaurants. From service to kitchen, our experience was nothing short of perfection. We will certainly be back in the future!View more
The desserts are to die for! Panna cotta, tiramisu.... The ice creams are the best: lavender, rosemary, passion fruit... They also serve the best cup of coffee. We were so impressed that we asked what kind of beans that they used & let us buy a 1kg bag. The staff is awesome, genuinely nice & helpful.View more
Divine dining experience in Vienna
5/5 Intimate outdoor dining
5/5 professional & friendly service
5/5 Somelllier was knowledgeable & recommend a wine we thoroughly enjoyed.
5/5 Gorgeous presentation. Delicious food. We enjoyed the scallops the most. Ravioli was a close second. For dessert we devoured the most tasty tiramisu I have ever experienced.
Make reservations. This restaurant is full for a reason.View more
