My partner & I were visiting from Ontario - he's a Canadian born Turk. We thought we'd see what Turkish restaurants are in Montreal & saw that Bistro Patate au Four made kumpir! My partner exclaimed we HAD to go! The last time he had kumpir was when he visited Turkey last, over 17 years ago. We went & ordered their two most popular variations - the Turk & the Montrealaise - & it was absolutely delicious. Very filling, very flavourful, & we were both very very happy. It exceeded both of our expectations - my partner said it beat the kumpir in Turkey, hands down, & for me, it was so beyond baked potato it's not even the same thing. This a MUST try. Dilek (owner) & company were very hospitable & made us feel welcomed. Thank you for the excellent experience - we wish we lived here so we could have it every week! C'est endroit est tout simplement henial & convivial bien manger, gourmand, gourmet, bonnes portions & santé ! Tout est maison (rien de chimique ou industriel). La Qualité des ingrédients & l'amour du fait maison justifie le prix. Y aller c'est y retourner :)Voir plus

Had my eye on this place for a while & finally got around to visiting. We had the baked potato nordic & montreal - both were absolutely delicious. They served us some spicy pickled jalapenos on the side, which were a fantastic addition. We'll be coming back to try the other dishes 😍Voir plus

On a décidé d'aller dans ce resto grâce aux avis très positifs & croyez moi ça vaut la peine! La qualité, fraîcheur & goût sont excellent; au dessus de la moyenne. Le chef super gentil. Le service un peu lent & le décor ordinaire. Mais c'est de loin la meilleure tzatziki que j'ai mangé. Les wraps avec le pain naan sont exceptionnel. Les kumpirs sont très réconfortant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently visited the bistro & tried two of their dishes: the 4 Cheese with Bacon baked potato & the Smoked Salmon baked potato. Both were absolutely amazing! The 4 Cheese with Bacon was rich & creamy, with perfectly cooked bacon adding a wonderful crunch. The Smoked Salmon baked potato was equally impressive, with the salmon adding a delightful, smoky flavor. Each potato was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin & fluffy interior. The atmosphere of the bistro was cozy & inviting, & the staff were friendly & attentive. I highly recommend the bistro to anyone looking for a delicious & satisfying meal. What a lovely place! We enjoyed the ambiance & the food was excellent. I was craving an American-type baked potato so I got the"Bacon" & added cheddar cheese. We also got the zucchini fritters. Everything was delicious! I would eat here regularly if I lived in Montreal. Highly recommend!Voir plus
