We named our restaurant Bistro Nolah, an acronym for New Orleans, out of a love for the style of comfort food they serve down south. This style of food will be the inspiration behind some of the dishes we will be serving at Nolah.

Our second visit to Bistro Nolah was just as great as our first, if not better! This restaurant has a very warm & inviting atmosphere! The food is delicious, packed with flavour! You can taste the love in every dish! Friendly & knowledgeable wait staff! We'll definitely will go back!
Laid-back atmosphere, great food, & great service. Jambalaya balls & sausage gumbo are an appetiser must. Lots of great main dishes like shrimps & grits, blackened catfish, fried chicken chorizo, & brisket mac & cheese. For dessert, try the beignets & the key-lime pie.

Amazing food & drinks. Best restaurant in the West Island. Fair prices for how good quality it is. For a nice night out you can't go wrong. Doing in is the way to go for full experience.
Went last week with a group. Service was above & beyond. Started with spicy margaritas, & wanted to continue. Food to die for. Will absolutely be back. The shrimp & grits are the best I've ever had. Oysters were large & juicy. & fish cakes were great off the chalkboard menu. Can't wait to get back for brunch.
Didn't have any reservations on a weekend & was quickly accommodated. Service was very good & the atmosphere was lively. The food was a let down. The jambalaya rice balls were missing a punch & pretty dry. The hush puppies were bland, the sauce that it came with made up for it. The crabe cake was meaty but it had a very strong smell to it. The fried chicken was ok but not crispy. It's sad that they use already peeled shrimps for the shrimp & grits. In any case I'd come back for the service we received in hopes of having a better experience food wise.
I can't recommend this place enough. It has been my wife's & my favorite date night spot since we found it many years ago. The food & service are always exceptional. Tonight my wife had the blackened shrimp, fried chicken(main dish) & Mississippi mud pie & I had the friend chicken(appetizer), brisket mac & cheese & key lime pie(best I have ever had). All our food was delicious & I can't wait for the next time we are able to go :)

This is our favourite restaurant in Montreal. The food is always delicious & the portions are perfect. We always clean every plate!! We come for our anniversary & the dishes are perfect to share. Such a romantic atmosphere & it's a small intimate setting. The waiter is incredible, skilled, & professional. Such a treat to go there. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Excellent restaurant, très bon service. La nourriture est excellente & bien présenté. Définitivement je doit y retourner pour un souper avec un repas plus authentique de la N-O. Je recommande!
Absolutely delicious food. Attended with a party of 6. The service was very attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meal but the standout items were the fried chicken & bourbon shrimp. Will have to come back & try their brunch.
Wow ! Le service est impeccable 12/10 ... bravo à notre serveur! La nourriture est excellente!!! En entrée, Le Gumbo aux saucisses est une portion assez généreuse pour 2 personnes. La sauce est incroyable, gouteuse & le riz est excellent! Ensuite, les crevettes Créoles... Miam... encore ici la sauce était exquise! Le riz Jambolaya Excellent! Le Jarret avec son accompagnement & sa sauce était aussi excellent! . Le Cocktail était bon & le vin Les beignets étaient chauds... Je n'ai que de bonne chose à dire de ce restaurant! L'ambiance est excellente... Je le recommande fortement! Cheers
Magnifique petit resto intime, avec des créations originales aux cocktails & la table. Tout est bon. On recommande de prendre plusieurs plats & partager. Gumbo & jambalaya au top. Ne pas manquer les desserts non plus. On se retrouve ici comme dans les restos du Vieux Carré à la N.O. Service souriant, courtois & efficace. En famille, entre amis ou en couple. Toutes de bonnes options. Prix justes. Highly recommend 👍👍

First time here & not the last! The food was perfect. We had the fried chicken as an appetizer & enjoyed shrimps & grits as a main. The service was also impeccable. A bit on the slower side, but they seemed short staffed that day.
Great meal. I didn't call before hand to ask about their GF options on the menu & I was afraid I couldn't eat anything since there wasn't any suggestions or possible replacements. Our waiter Chris was quick to answer my questions regarding what could be offered. Thank you for checking back & forth with the kitchen, listening, double checking again, & being honest. I will definitely come back. The service was fantastic!!!

The Louisiana-inspired dishes are a standout, full of bold flavors & unique twists that you won't find anywhere else. The quality & freshness of the ingredients are always top-notch, & the staff make you feel right at home with their warm & attentive service.
