Great atmosphere & the waiter was amazing! Definitely going back. Best spicy Margarita! ;)
My husband & I were lucky to have reservations at Bistro Nolah on Valentines Day. Considering its strip mall location, tue restaurant is warm & inviting, with great music & casual, romantic ambiance. The service, from both our hostess, Cassidy, & our server were outstanding throughout. The three course menu had various options. Each course was absolutely delicious, & beautiful to look at. Our mains, the braised short rib with polenta & the Cajun shrimp were particularly outstanding. The rest of the food was equally impressive. If you are looking for a great restaurant, with terrific food & service that is not a hassle to.park at- I strongly recommend this fine establishment. Oh, & if you've never had Mississippi mud pie, order it. You won't regret it.
My husband & I had such a wonderful experience at Bistro Nolah last night. Our waiter was outstanding, knowledgeable about every dish & was so friendly, service was A++! The food never disappoints here, as always every dish was simply perfection. This restaurant is consistent in service, ambience & food.
Tout était absolument délicieux, je me sentais aux États-Unis ! Le serveur très sympathique & l'ambiance conviviale, j'y retournerai !
The experience was a 10/10. From the food, to the service, the ambiance, everything was chef Kiss. We came here for the Valentine's Day special & it was indeed special. The serves were wonderful. The atmosphere was super romantic. The food was amazing. The three course dinner experience was delicious & filling! From the special chef appetizer to to the main course, nothing missed a beat, & I'm a picky eater. I'm American & it was a pleasure finding some Southern American flare in Montreal. ❤️
Everything from the restaurant, service & food is perfect. I don't remember the last time I had such flavorful dishes at a restaurant in Montreal. I will definitely add this to my go to in the city.
I could write an essay about how much I love this restaurant. It's my go to, hands down. Had a bad day? Go eat at Nolah's, you'll feel better. Something special to celebrate? Go to Nolah's, you'll always remember the delicious food & the professional & kind staff. Want to go somewhere you feel at home? Go to Nolah's, where you see the chefs preparing your meal, & you can thank them for their dedicated work on your way out. Just try Nolah's, it's like traveling to New Orlean's without leaving Montreal. It's perfect. I've had everything on the menu, & I can't think of anything negative to say. Nothing! I'll stop here. Just try it!
I LOVE this restaurant. The food is incredible. I ordered the Creole shrimp & the mac&cheese. Everything is soo flavorful. The Creole shrimp has the right amount of spicy & it pairs soo well with the jambalaya rice. Overall I highly recommend it!
Last night was my first dining experience at this exceptional gem of a restaurant. The octopus appetizer was phenomenal. I was advised by many people to order the shrimp & grits & could not believe a dish could be so heavenly delicious. I was too full to order the bread pudding which I was planning to, so I shared the Mississippi mud pie which is a chocolate lover's delight. This was one of THE most delicious meals that I have ever eaten & cannot wait to return.
Great Atmospheric vibes. The staffs are wonderful. One of the best chicken, & brisket. They have duck aswell. I'll give this resto 11/10 👍👍👍
As a die hard fan of creole food this place was amazing. The food was so good. The fried chicken was light crispy & full of flavour & the gumbo & smoked brisket were packed with rich & on point flavours. The service was outstanding our server was attentive & very knowledgeable & looked after us. If you love southern inspired food great service & ambiance I highly recommend going. We will be back
AMAZING food & service. Our server Chris was great. He recommended some signiture dishes... Definitely go for the fried chicken, gumbo, & anything with grits 😋😋😋
Nourriture excellente. Même si je ne pouvais manger épicé, On m'a arrangé un repas principal à mes restrictions alimentaires. Bravo à ce restaurant ! Nous étions un groupe de 6. Il y avait 4 personnes qui ne connaissaient pas ce resto... Affirmatif, ils reviendront. Ils ont adorés
Absolutely delicious food with great ambience & music. Friendly staff. A must!
Delicious! Wonderful service! Fun atmosphere. A jewel in Montreal. The servers really know the menu & make excellent recommendations.
Bistro Nolah is a New Orleans delight! From mouthwatering fried chicken to the flavorful jambalaya, every dish screams authenticity. The charming ambiance, complete with jazz music, transports you to the heart of Louisiana. What truly made our visit exceptional was Chris, our waiter, who provided the best service we've ever experienced. A must-visit for an authentic taste of New Orleans with impeccable service.
They won my heart with that fresh bread & chipotle, honey whipped butter. Everything was lovely & our server Jennifer was wonderful. The hush puppies were delicious & the Lobster Mac & Cheese was super decadent. I can't wait to go back for shrimp & grits.
November 2023: the short ribs were well presented, a good portion, & well cooked but kinda tasteless except for the surface. Jambalaya boulettes were delicious but if there was meat it was invisible. Great service. Nice decor at atmosphere. Enjoyed the Nebbolini wine we got. Past experiences: Definitely one of the best restaurants in the West Island overall. Excellent service. Nice cocktails but they could stand to be more creative with them. Gumbo & jambalaya are always solid choices. The beignets are very filling. The lobster mac & cheese wasn't really for me, it felt like it was missing something. Brunch was great pre-covid, haven't checked since.
