We went to this newly opened restaurant in my neighborhood for Father's Day. Everything was so good! I decided to go back & order 3 platters of sushi's for my husband's 50th birthday!! All the platters looked amazing & tasted fantastic!! All my guests were impressed. We finished the leftovers the next day & the rice was still very soft & tasty. The quality & attention they put into their food is just incredible!! I have to say that Miga will be my go to restaurant from now on. Have to also mention how the owner was super super nice & friendly!! Thank you for making my party memorable!
Owned by the sweetest family. Good food, not my favorite korean spot though. Banchan were yummy.
I saw it on IG & when I saw the gamjatang. I need to try it & surely it taste delicious (mashita) & serving is more than 1 person but I ate it all. Definitely will be coming back. Side dish is also mashita..
Absolute gem! I came here for takeout shortly before they closed expecting to have to come back the next day. They were extremely accommodating, took my order & were happy to do so. The owners were so nice even though I came 15 minutes before closing. The food was amazing as well. We ordered 3 different dishes, let's just say there's no leftovers. I would not hesitate at all to come here, everything about this place is just amazing. Thank you so much!
Food is delicious & has a good selection of drinks. I'm so happy to have a cozy local place for my favorite Korean dishes & even sushi! Service was fast too. I hope this place is open for a long time to come.
We dined here for Mother's Day (actual Mother's Day is tomorrow) & were surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty. We ordered tteokbokki, japchae, sushi, & osam bulgogi. The japchae was overcooked, with short & broken noodles, which affected the texture. While I was eager to enjoy the meal, the overall experience was underwhelming. Given that the restaurant has only been open for a month, there's potential for improvement. Montreal boasts many excellent Korean restaurants, & I hope this establishment rises to that standard in time.
Simply the tastiest korean restaurant I've been in Montreal. Finally, a true authentic korean family restaurant in montreal.
I went the first time with my family & we really enjoyed the food & the price is reasonable. We also like the vibe & we were surprised how spacious inside. Lots of selection & there's also free side dishes. Will definitely come back next time
Amazing restaurant with a wide menu of delicious food! Service was fast & excellent! Can't wait to come back!
I had such a satisfying experience at this restaurant. The kids absolutely loved the sushi - it was fresh, neatly prepared, & full of flavor. Every dish we ordered felt like it was made with care & sincerity. The owner was incredibly kind, which made the whole experience even better. You can really feel the heart behind the Korean food here. This place left a great impression on us, & I'm already planning to visit again. Highly recommended!
Très bon restaurant. Les plats sont savoureux & bien présentés. Le service est attentionné & rapide. L'ambiance est agréable. Une belle adresse à recommander.
Absolutely loved Miga! The food was authentic, flavorful, & clearly made with care-every dish felt like a warm hug. The BBQ was top-notch, the side dishes were generous & delicious, & the staff were super friendly & attentive. Cozy atmosphere, great vibes-definitely coming back. Highly recommend to anyone craving real Korean food!
The food was really tasty & the place was really calm. The decor was also pleasant & looked elegant. I think that for the portions, the price is very good. I ordered spicy food & it was fine to my taste it wasn't too spicy but for other people it might be too spicy but they have a lot of recipes without spiciness. I really recommend this place to go either as a couple or with a group of friends.
So glad to have tried this place! Great food & even better service. The couple running this place is so sweet & hard working. We will back for sure.
Very nice renovation! Perfect service! Soup was healthy & tasty but too sweet for me.

I visited MiGa recently & had a wonderful dining experience. We ordered the spicy stir-fried squid & pork (Osam Bulgogi), nigiri sushi, & soft tofu stew (Sundubu Jjigae).
The Osam Bulgogi was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice-it truly felt like being invited to a Korean home-cooked dinner. The nigiri, including tuna, salmon, & torched salmon belly, was excellent-honestly, on par with what you'd expect from a dedicated sushi restaurant. If I had to point out one small suggestion, I'd love to see slightly thicker & longer slices of sashimi with less rice (maybe 2/3 of the current amount). Still, the freshness of the ingredients really stood out-please keep that up!
The Sundubu Jjigae was the most disappointing dish, as the tofu itself lacked flavor. It tasted healthy, but a bit more depth would have made a difference.
Service was friendly & left a great impression. The restaurant has a warm, Korean-style ambiance, & if they continue to maintain this atmosphere & authentic flavors, I believe MiGa has a bright future ahead. It seems like it's only been open for about a month, & I truly hope they keep the same heart & spirit going forward.
I'll definitely return & would recommend it to others!
