Honestly one of the best Korean restaurants I've tried, & I've been to a lot. Everything was so flavorful, even the simple side dishes were amazing. I ordered the gamjatang & loved every bite, but my favorite was the bulgogi kimbap! Super fresh & not dry at all like the ones you sometimes get. The owner was also really kind & welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back🙂???

I eat Korean food often with my family since it's the one cuisine we all agree on. We wanted to try something new & came across Miga on this platform. I was a bit skeptical at first because the ratings were so high, but after looking through the reviews & photos, it seemed worth a visit.

We went on a busy night with a couple of large groups seated at other tables, & seeing only two servers had me expecting long waits. Surprisingly, the food came faster than expected & almost all at once-appetizers & mains together. Everything was very flavourful, & we thoroughly enjoyed each dish. The standout was the Osam Bulgogi, where squid & pork were served in a rich, tasty sauce. We also ordered the salmon tartare & the salmon onion rolls. Both were excellent, & it was impressive to see a Korean restaurant deliver sushi this well. I would return just for the sushi & to try more of their dishes-that's how good it was.

Service was attentive, & kudos to the two servers who handled the entire restaurant on such a busy night.

The food was absolutely flavorful. We ordered the dakgalbi, bulgogi, sweet & spicy fried chicken & chicken katsu gimbap. It had the right amount of spice & kick to it's food. One of the best korean restaurants to go to if you are in Montreal or visiting Montreal. Additionally, the owner is literally the sweetest, he checks up on his customers continuously & just the most wholesome person ever. I will definitely be coming here again - amazing!

My husband & I had a lovely dinner at Miga, a cozy, family-owned Korean restaurant. We ordered a variety of dishes & genuinely enjoyed our meal.

The bulgogi beef stew was a standout - the broth was rich, flavorful, & slightly sweet, though a bit on the oily side. The seafood pancake was decent, & the salmon tataki made a great starter - the tangy, sour flavor really helped open the appetite. We also tried the japchae, which was delicious & well-seasoned, though also a touch too oily for my taste.

One thing I really appreciated is that the meal came with small Korean side dishes (banchan) - something many restaurants either don't offer or charge extra for. It made the experience feel more authentic & generous.

Service was excellent - quick & efficient - & our waitress was incredibly friendly & welcoming. Overall, a great experience with comforting Korean food. Would happily come back to try more from the menu!

We dined here for Mother's Day (actual Mother's Day is tomorrow) & were surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty. We ordered tteokbokki, japchae, sushi, & osam bulgogi. The japchae was overcooked, with short & broken noodles, which affected the texture. While I was eager to enjoy the meal, the overall experience was underwhelming. Given that the restaurant has only been open for a month, there's potential for improvement. Montreal boasts many excellent Korean restaurants, & I hope this establishment rises to that standard in time.

(English version is following)

I visited MiGa recently & had a wonderful dining experience. We ordered the spicy stir-fried squid & pork (Osam Bulgogi), nigiri sushi, & soft tofu stew (Sundubu Jjigae).

The Osam Bulgogi was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice-it truly felt like being invited to a Korean home-cooked dinner. The nigiri, including tuna, salmon, & torched salmon belly, was excellent-honestly, on par with what you'd expect from a dedicated sushi restaurant. If I had to point out one small suggestion, I'd love to see slightly thicker & longer slices of sashimi with less rice (maybe 2/3 of the current amount). Still, the freshness of the ingredients really stood out-please keep that up!

The Sundubu Jjigae was the most disappointing dish, as the tofu itself lacked flavor. It tasted healthy, but a bit more depth would have made a difference.

Service was friendly & left a great impression. The restaurant has a warm, Korean-style ambiance, & if they continue to maintain this atmosphere & authentic flavors, I believe MiGa has a bright future ahead. It seems like it's only been open for about a month, & I truly hope they keep the same heart & spirit going forward.

I'll definitely return & would recommend it to others!
