Hidden gem. Run & owned by local Japanese family. A neighborhood hood restaurant. While not an extensive sushi list what they do serve is first & foremost fresh , affordable , good quality sushi. The "must tries" here are when you try the daily specials & their authentic Japanese tapas style menu listings : spinach , burdock root , agadashi eggplant , chicken balls , torched salmon to name a few . The non sushi menu items are scrumptious making this place enjoyable for all. Easy parking. Casual & affordable . Family , date night or get together for whatever the occasion.Voir plus

Great food, great service, very affordable. Only took 1 star off because the restaurant part needs alot of improvement. I suspect they kind of just transition to take out/delivery so the restaurant is not really a focus for them.Voir plus

I used to go to Isakaya when it was on Parc Ave & didn't realize it had moved to this new (closer to me!) location. I think it's primarily for take-out now, but there are a couple spots to sit inside if you're only a small amount of people. The food was amazing, & the service helpful & kind. I wasn't sure what to expect because it seemed so different, but this will now be our go-to sushi place!Voir plus
