Beautiful experience out on the patio for my birthday. Great beer suggestions from our server & the Roquefort mussels were fantastic.Voir plus
We had a wonderful & tasty meal. The mussels are always a hit with my family. I had a pork dish that was cooked in maple syrup with chorizo sausage. Off the charts good! The service was amazing. The staff was friendly, helpful & attentive. A big shout out to Florence, Simon & Chris!Voir plus
Was there on Saturday night for a birthday dinner. It was a first for the two of us & we are excited to go back. The place (an old house style restaurant with two levels, two sections on the ground floor & a terrace for the warmer months) wasn't too packed when we arrived for our 6pm reservation, but people really started coming in at 6:30-7pm. The food was phenomenal (they have a set menu as well as an "ardoises"/rotating menu). They offer a huge variety of food... definitely not a standard pub food place (french onion soup, octopus, fries & mussels, poke bowls, duck sausages, tartare...). We had the ribs with risotto (on the set menu) & the butternut gnocchi with porto sauce, truffle oil & braised beef cheek... I'm still thinking about the latter. If you are a foodie & love to try new beers in a cozy atmosphere, THIS is the place to go (20 minutes from the island of Montreal~WORTH IT).Voir plus
Service was very attentive. Our server was friendly & kind. Ribs & risotto dish was delicious. The ribs were very tender & went nicely with the soft risotto. I love mussels but they were a bit bland & I didn't enjoy them. My husband ate them. Nice location & ambiance.Voir plus
My favourite restaurant. Expansive beer menu, great mussels, always amazing service. Make sure to reserve on the weekends.Voir plus
One of my favorite restaurants. They have an excellent lunch special, delicious mussels, tartare, & a today die for onion soup. Really a fantastic ambiance.Voir plus
I went to Bistro Des Bieres Belges with my boyfriend. I am not much of a beer drinker, but our waitress gave me a few suggestions & I ended up really enjoying my beer. I ordered the dijon mussels, & they were excellent. They came with a huge side of fries & warm bread. My boyfriend ordered one of the sausage plates & he really enjoyed his meal. We shared a creme brulee for dessert which was good as well. The environment is very warm, romantic & rustic. The service was very good & I love how they seated us in a tiny little corner alone. I would highly recommend this place for any couple looking for a great place for date night, or even a dinner with friends. There is seating both inside & outside (although I prefer the inside space) & lots of parking space in the back. Be sure to make a reservation though, its a very popular place on the weekends!
Not a bad place for lunch but be prepared to wait . The service is a bit slow making those who only have only an hour for lunch a bit difficult. The food is okay but not more. I had the mussels with blue cheese & it tasted like water. You can go to chez Vincent nearby & get a much better plat. The patio could use a good cleaning (dead leaves on the roof). I will go back but only because it is the closest to work.
