About us
Established for over twenty years, the bistro des bières belges is housed in an authentic Canadian house of over 150 years old. The original house was a railway station, then a farm house where the current mezzanine served as a grain warehouse.
For several years, different businesses have occupied the site. On the menu, you'll find mussels which are famous to this bistro. They are prepared to your liking, with one of the thirteen house recipes and served with excellent mayonnaise french fries. While maintaining a Belgian touch, the bistro also offers grilled meats and local Quebecois products. To compliment your meal you'll have a choice of over 100 imported beers, the majority of which come from Belgium.
Come see the different categories: White, Fruity, Blondes, Amber, Brown and Pressure. In addition, a fine selection of wines is available. The bistro gives out a warm welcome in an old house with a beautiful garden terrace in the summer. You're invited to discover a small corner of Belgium on the South Shore. See you soon!

Je reviens d'un souper pour la fête de ma belle-soeur aujourd'hui le 9 août, j'ai pris une carpaccio à la pieuvre, un tartare de boeuf ainsi qu'une bière'pêcheresse'.
C'était absolument délicieux, vraiment !!
Pour couronner le tout, le service que nous avons eu était merveilleux, notre serveuse (Florence) fut de très bon & judicieux conseils, est elle même sublime & ravissante.

One of my absolutely favorite spots of all time. This is where I had my first'legal' beer when I turned 18. I sampled virtually the entire menu of epic Belgian beers over the years, & had the opportunity to revisit this place on a recent trip to Montreal. Everything is good, the service is great, the atmosphere is awesome, it's a perfect place for good food, good beer, & conversation in good company. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Un vrai coup de coeur culinaire au Bistro des Bières Belges à St-Hubert! 😍
Chaque bouchée était un délice : la pieuvre grillée fondante, le mac & cheese façon taco birria décadent, la saucisse de canard savoureuse, sans oublier les tatakis de boeuf & de thon parfaitement saisis, servis sur un lit de riz croustillant.
Mais ma vraie faiblesse, c'est leur coquille Saint-Jacques… une entrée riche, généreuse, nappée d'une sauce onctueuse à tomber! Un incontournable à chaque visite, je ne peux tout simplement pas m'en passer.
& que dire de la chef Rachel… une perle! 💎 Passionnée, attentionnée, & ça se goûte dans l'assiette.
