We weren't sure at first because we were the only people in the restaurant when we went but the staff outdid themselves!! The food & service were top notch! Food came out hot & delicious, & drinks were excellent! I would definitely recommend trying out Bistro 1242!!

Un délice. Le plat que j'avais commandé était savoureux. Ingrédients frais, servies chauds & avec une portion acceptable. Le personnel était courtois, souriant, & rapide. Décors rustique avec une ambiance excellente. Possibilité de s'asseoir sur de chaises hautes au bar ou ordinaires aux tables. Resto-pub situé dans une zone entouré de plusieurs hôtels.

Proche du Centre-Bell ,( y étions pour un show en faite) Ambiance sympa mais il ne restait plus aucun dessert ni crème pour le café ?! & pressé de donner la facture.. Dommage....

Was skeptical, but the service, atmosphere & food were fantastic. Got the Cesar Salad with chicken & a beer. Chicken was well seasoned with the perfect hint of char. It was all very good. Quiet, street views, polite staff, more than what you would expect at a hotel restaurant. Very good prices too!

Service was top notch, drinks were great, & the food was just what I wanted. Maria is amazing, friendly, & so knowledgeable about the area. As a solo traveler, it was great to come here at the end of the day & be treated like family.
