I've been to Bigga taste twice so far & definitely going back.
The service is friendly, the atmosphere relaxed & pleasant & the food is excellent.
The first time, I had the brown pork stew with rice.
The stew was delicious & the rice was perfectly cooked, I highly recommend.
The second time I ate there, I had what was easily the best fried chicken since I've been abroad & the fries didn't go cold one minute after getting to the table.
Both times, I washed it down with their delicious ginger juice.
Next time I'm in N.D.G. I'll definitely try the ox tail.

Only 6 months old, Bigga Taste is here to stay with their varied menu of Caribbean delights. Located 2 doors down from the 3 in 1 ,5480 Sherbrooke Ouest's Flagga Coiffure, Carols Salon & Valentino Trading, I had a chicken pattie cuz' honestly I was kinda...chicken. Happy surprise, not bland , dry or skimpy like some I have had. Bigga Taste's patties are full, flaky & perfectly seasoned as is , or with a sauce. I spotted what looked to be the last peice of cake & enquired. To my delight , it was described as coconut & cranberry & having had similar'cakes' in the past. I claimed it. Good thing , because yummm..
Can't wait to check out Ackee & Saltfish (one of their specialties) , jerk ++ Nice reggae music going on too & small bar w sweet tropical vibes
Bigga Taste is One of the best authentic Jamaican restaurant in Montreal by far. Food is delicious… Very big portions & bold Caribbean flavors are exactly what Bigga Taste is known for… Big up to the owner Andrea. One love 🇯🇲
Just got me a double drizzle & it is beyond delicious oh my days. Very nice service, clean & amazing vibes on the speaker. Best Jamaican food & on the island. 📍

Hands down one of the most incredible spaces for authentic Jamaican Food in Montreal. Their curry goat tastes just like home & the service is kind & gracious. They are God fearing & loving & that resonates in the meals. May they have continued abundance!!!
The best! I rarely leave reviews so far it's my 4th time eating food from here from the oxtail to the jerk chicken I can't get enough so clean fresh & tasty! You won't regret it🤌🏽

The curry chicken roti was next level 🤤 The chicken was so tender & juicy, packed with flavor in every single bite. The curry was rich, perfectly seasoned, & had just the right amount of spice. It wasn't too heavy, just pure comfort food done right 👌🏽
& the jerk chicken… WOW 🔥 The flavor was bold, smoky, & perfectly spiced. You get that nice kick without it being overwhelming, & it's cooked so well, juicy on the inside with that beautiful char on the outside. It tasted fresh & authentic, not rushed at all.
Everything was hot, flavorful, & made with care. If you're debating what to order, you really can't go wrong with the curry chicken roti or the jerk chicken 😍🔥 Bigga Taste is definitely one of my go to spots now.
I went to Bigga Taste the other day & I'm not even kidding I left smiling. The place has this warm, homey vibe the moment you walk in, & it smells incredible. The staff were super friendly too, like they actually cared that you were there.
But the food… that's what got me excited. The jerk chicken was AMAZING!! full of flavor, tender, & had that perfect kick without being too much. & the oxtail? Really good. Rich, soft, & just one of those dishes you don't want to end.
Overall, it was such a good experience. Great atmosphere, great people, & seriously good food. I'm already planning my next visit.
J'ai commandé l'assiette de porc jerk & un pâté au boeuf. Le service était courtois & rapide, tout était chaud & semblait frais. La viande n'était toutefois pas à mon goût : très épicée & sucrée. Il était également difficile de distinguer les morceaux de gras des morceaux de viande. La salade de macaronis était fade. Le riz était bien, mais sans plus. L'étoile du repas était sans aucun doute le pâté au boeuf, je le recommande chaleureusement.
Best authentic jerk chicken I tasted in a while! Ordered on UberEats & that 65min delivery was worth it. Ordered 2 jerk chicken, 1 side of dumpling & a side of Plantains & I'm glad that I ordered them because it completed the meal beautifully. Jerk chicken meals came with 1 grape tomatoes, grated carrots & a Macaroni salad. The Macaroni salad was good. I asked for oxtail gravy on the rice but they didn't put a lot, wish there was more sauce. Also Ordered a large CHICKEN soup but as you can see that's what I got
I had a delicious bowl of soup & with a plate of Ackee & Saltfish with banana & yams & dumplings & it was delicious that I had to ordered some more to go bowl of soup . Fi real this is Best Jamaican 🇯🇲Restaurant to go NDG Sherbroke Street in Montreal ❤?
