My wife & I celebrated Mother's Day at Bigga Taste restaurant on Sherbrooke street, Sunday, May 10, 2026.
This was an AMAZING & MEMORABLE experience indeed!!
The restaurant was clean, cozy & aesthetically pleasing.
The curry goat (my main course) was out of this world DELICIOUS!!
The red snapper (my wife's main course was to die for).
Frankly, the most sumptuously delicious Jamaican meal (other than my grandmother's cooking) I have ever had.
We will forever be customers at Bigga Taste restaurant!!

This place is a new NDG gem! Let's start with when you walk in, it's so clean! Family run business, which I had the opportunity of meeting the owner & her sons who are so lovely. The passion in the food, you can see! But what we all come to reviews for is'is the food good?'
Let me tell you, it's FIRE! You can taste the love of cooking! I got the oxtail with plantain & fried dumplin; this is flavor! The sorrel had punch! 10/10! The patties are flakey & filled! Portions are great. I can't wait to see the new creations the chef if coming out with in the future! Bless 🇦🇬!

Bigga Taste never disappoints! The oxtail & jerk chicken were AMAZING & cooked perfectly!! I also grabbed a sorrel drink super refreshing & delicious. The restaurant is always clean, the service is quick, & the staff are welcoming every time I come by. Definitely one of my go to spots for great Jamaican food! 🔥

I came in today & immediately felt so welcomed! The place is nice, clean, & has a great vibe. The service was quick too didn't have to wait long at all. I ordered the jerk chicken & oxtail meal, & both were absolutely delicious, full of rich, authentic flavours. This was only my second time trying Jamaican food, & it was totally worth it. Bigga Taste definitely lives up to its name! I'll definitely be coming back. 👍🏾👍🏾
