The curry chicken roti was next level 🤤 The chicken was so tender & juicy, packed with flavor in every single bite. The curry was rich, perfectly seasoned, & had just the right amount of spice. It wasn't too heavy, just pure comfort food done right 👌🏽
& the jerk chicken… WOW 🔥 The flavor was bold, smoky, & perfectly spiced. You get that nice kick without it being overwhelming, & it's cooked so well, juicy on the inside with that beautiful char on the outside. It tasted fresh & authentic, not rushed at all.
Everything was hot, flavorful, & made with care. If you're debating what to order, you really can't go wrong with the curry chicken roti or the jerk chicken 😍🔥 Bigga Taste is definitely one of my go to spots now.
I went to Bigga Taste the other day & I'm not even kidding I left smiling. The place has this warm, homey vibe the moment you walk in, & it smells incredible. The staff were super friendly too, like they actually cared that you were there.
But the food… that's what got me excited. The jerk chicken was AMAZING!! full of flavor, tender, & had that perfect kick without being too much. & the oxtail? Really good. Rich, soft, & just one of those dishes you don't want to end.
Overall, it was such a good experience. Great atmosphere, great people, & seriously good food. I'm already planning my next visit.
J'ai commandé l'assiette de porc jerk & un pâté au boeuf. Le service était courtois & rapide, tout était chaud & semblait frais. La viande n'était toutefois pas à mon goût : très épicée & sucrée. Il était également difficile de distinguer les morceaux de gras des morceaux de viande. La salade de macaronis était fade. Le riz était bien, mais sans plus. L'étoile du repas était sans aucun doute le pâté au boeuf, je le recommande chaleureusement.
Best authentic jerk chicken I tasted in a while! Ordered on UberEats & that 65min delivery was worth it. Ordered 2 jerk chicken, 1 side of dumpling & a side of Plantains & I'm glad that I ordered them because it completed the meal beautifully. Jerk chicken meals came with 1 grape tomatoes, grated carrots & a Macaroni salad. The Macaroni salad was good. I asked for oxtail gravy on the rice but they didn't put a lot, wish there was more sauce. Also Ordered a large CHICKEN soup but as you can see that's what I got

I had a delicious bowl of soup & with a plate of Ackee & Saltfish with banana & yams & dumplings & it was delicious that I had to ordered some more to go bowl of soup . Fi real this is Best Jamaican 🇯🇲Restaurant to go NDG Sherbroke Street in Montreal ❤?

Pleasantly surprised the jerk chicken was moist, sweet & spicy perfect blend of sweet & spicyness for me ,it was super tender it fell off the bone! the coleslaw was the best I've had in any restaurant! the beans & rice were perfectly cooked👌 but what really stood out is they put this type of sweet chutney on the side with the rice & omg IT WAS AMAZING! 😲 BIG UP!!!!!!! Tried this spot three times & while the service & atmosphere are nice, the flavors didn't feel as authentic compared to the wide variety of Jamaican restaurants we already have in Montreal. I'm sure it will thrive, but unfortunately it wasn't for me.
Beautiful place. The food is well flavoured, & well portioned. Our group order the fried chicken, curry goat, & jerk chicken poutine. Its a must try in Montreal for Jamaican food. 10/10

Great service & great food. I tried the jerk pork plate & an oxtail + jerk chicken mix plate, & I cleared both of them with no hesitation. Everything was seasoned perfectly & cooked just right. This place instantly became my new favorite Caribbean spot 👍 😊
Food is amazing. Having to pay more if you use your card is ridiculous though. A bit on the pricy side but its quality over quantity. Also do not like when the young people are working the phone- the restaurant closes at 10pm so if I call at 9:20 for a pick up & im told they are getting ready to close SHOWS ME they are not serious about their reputation or services or clients who spend over 100$ a month on them. I was just told at 9:20pm on a Saturday I can not place my order. Highly disappointed... & now unfortunately I will NOT come back there pass out the cards, or have the BEST to say. I will give the truth the food is good but the problem with west indian restaurants is not ever the food. Its the PEOPLE WHO WORK for the restaurant who are the FACE of the business....
This place is a new NDG gem! Let's start with when you walk in, it's so clean! Family run business, which I had the opportunity of meeting the owner & her sons who are so lovely. The passion in the food, you can see! But what we all come to reviews for is'is the food good?'
Let me tell you, it's FIRE! You can taste the love of cooking! I got the oxtail with plantain & fried dumplin; this is flavor! The sorrel had punch! 10/10! The patties are flakey & filled! Portions are great. I can't wait to see the new creations the chef if coming out with in the future! Bless 🇦🇬!
