Recommend 👍
Great retro music, cute decor. Friendly, efficient service. enjoyed the garden party pizza & burrata appetize
Honestly one of the top tier restaurants in Montreal & a great find in the West Island! Service was really really good & the gentleman serving us was very nice! Pizza was top notch! Highly recommend!
Lovely place, I understand more now why it's difficult to book a table, I would love to be able to go more often but with the size of the restaurant I think it's reasonable to say they can't seat everyone, especially during rush hours & weekends but then again, the wait is worth it! The flavors of their pizza & garlic bread are just addictive plus for the price & decor, the whole place is just perfect for night out with friends or dates.
I recently visited Bernie's Pizza Bar & unfortunately left underwhelmed. The caesar salad was over-dressed, with unevenly distributed sauce-some leaves were drenched while others had thick clumps of dressing pooled at the base, making it unpleasant to eat.
The cocktails were also disappointing. I ordered one with cranberry juice & ginger, but it barely had any ginger flavor. Overall, the drinks felt mediocre & not particularly well-balanced.
As for the pizza, it was just okay-nothing memorable or exciting. There are definitely better options elsewhere if you're looking for standout pizza.
The space itself is quite small, & you shouldn't expect to get in without a reservation. Even with one, we were given a poorly placed table right in the middle of foot traffic. As people squeezed past, they brushed against our table, dragged their jackets across our dishes, & even shifted our plates, which made the whole experience feel cramped & intrusive.
Overall, not a terrible experience, but not one I'd rush to repeat.
Visit was arranged by a friend who knows this place well & it did not disappoint.
Being able to try two types of pizza was appreciated & encouraged. The cocktails were well crafted & added to the already positive experience.
HIGHLY recommend if you are paying a visit to Montreal's burbs.
SUPER YUMMY! Our waiter was Anthony & he was amazing. I have gluten restrictions & he made me feel confident in the food I was ordering & catered to my restrictions impeccably. He also answered every question we had with confidence & if he wasn't sure, he asked. The gluten free crust on the pizza is also divine & don't get me started on their dirty martinis, WOW!! Overall a very good experience & would deem it an amazing first date spot. Definitely recommend Anthony as a waiter & get a dirty martini😋
We went for a group birthday party last night - which is always a good test for how a restaurant performs - & it was delicious! Very fairly priced group menu at $45 pp & included multiple appetizers like Caesar salad, crispy/spicy calamari, mini fried chicken sliders (my fave) & cheesy garlic buns. You get one pizza per group of 4 but you can do half/half for toppings & it's a large thin crust pizza cut into squares so more than enough. We got the hot pep & the ricotta (nut-free) pesto & both were very tasty! The dessert was a the kicker bc I haven't had a good old fashion large cookie freshly baked with an ice cream on top in years at a resto! Everything was really good & the vibe was on point.

Great customer service!
Great ambiance. Delicious appetizers & pizzas. Great choice of martinis!
Perfect for a night out with Friends/Family or even a date night.
The food was very delicious! The beef sliders & pizza were yummy, we got to do half white sauce & half pesto sauce which was very nice. The decoration inside is amazing & so is the service! Would definitely come again.
The food wasn't what I expected. I would say the portions are big for what you're paying but it wasn't that different than other oven pizzas I've tried, & the Caesar salad was kind of bland. The garlic bread was the deal breaker.
Wow what a spot! The food was 10/10 thin crust pizza was delicious, that caesar salad was on another level !!! The crunch wow & I love me a Caesar salad we also had the truffle fries I really have nothing bad to say. The music was fabulous & our server was lovely !!! Will definitely be back
The best pizza I've had in Montreal. New York style. Vibe is also great!
So overrated & there are sooooo many better pizza spots in the west island.
Bernie's Pizza Martini Bar what can I say.. The West-Island needed a spot like this. Cool atmosphere, unpretentious vibe, straightforward menu, good food & drinks & excellent friendly service. I would recommend reserving if you want to be guaranteed a table as this place was still full past 10pm.
I liked the place but the food is average. 3⭐? would be viewed as negative & not what I mean to convey. It's just average. Drinks are good. The burrata dip is bland, barely any hot honey & no sign of the everything bagel seasoning. The pizza is ok, I wouldn't place it in the top 10 that I've had. The Fun Guy pizza is tasty. They charged an additional $4 to add sausage - I've had an easier time finding Waldo compared to finding the sausage on the pizza. In summary, somewhat overpriced for what you get, I don't regret going & I wouldn't return. Service was really good.
Really fun ambience with excellent service & delicious pizzas. Great gluten-free dough option as well. A wide variety of cocktails to choose from. Very cool place!
