Simply THE best & most unique doughnuts. They're like no other doughnuts I've had before. They continuously come out with new flavours for a limited time, & I recently tried the carrot cake-flavored one-it was so good!! I'll need to go back for more lol.

These donuts were $5 each which I found expensive; as I was walking out with the donuts, I grumbled to my husband that these better be the the best apple fritters I've ever had.
Well, these ARE the best apple fritters I've ever eaten in my life. There is now a before & after Beigne Habitude. This information is almost a burden. The dough was crispy & airy & light, the dough is also soft & the glaze is perfect. Absolutely worth $5.
I'm a big boy, so I'm speaking from experience when I say that these guys make the absolute best doughnuts I've ever had. They're a bit more expensive sure, but they're worth every penny!
Just today I finally got a chance to try their bagels & at the risk of upsetting the people entrenched in the St. Viateur vs Fairmount crowd, for my money, Beigne Habitude has the best bagels in the city of Montreal!
I would recommend to stop using single use plastics for your boxes. I know it makes them look better but it's a lot of waste for little reason. Other than that very good doughnuts!

Absolutely delicious doughnuts with fun, creative flavors, & served by owners who are always kind. I have made it a habit to stop in after an appointment on that side of town when I'm in the area every single week. My #1 favorite is the small time of year that they make a citron meringue, fluffy toasted meringue with a lemon curd filling. Other favorite flavors are the mélilot (glazed & herbaceous), caramel (glazed, the drizzle on top is amazing), the clementine, & the fig & hibiscus. The owner recognizes me now & is always welcoming. She knows I'm working to learn French & will help me when I see a word I don't recognize (since they change their flavors often!). They support my language learning but are fully fluent in English & helpful in whichever language I try to use on a given day.
Highly recommend this shop!
I've never felt so compelled to write a review before but these are by far the best doughnuts I've ever had in my life. Truly an elevated form of the dessert - the creative flavours are revelatory & even a simple flavour is a show-stopper. The old-fashioned maple I tried today had a texture I've never experienced before - it was moist with real maple syrup (no surprise there) but also crispy in a very satisfying way. Highly recommend getting a few flavours to share with friends so you can try a variety!
Why this place has not yet been recognized as a Montreal institution is beyond me. There is no one else in town at this level when it comes to doughnuts. Sue me if you don't agree (please don't).
The best donuts 🍩 in Montreal area, hands down. The dough taste so good it's unmatched compared other donut shop.You can taste every single ingredients, the topping is not based solely sugar, chocolate etc. My favorite donut shop🙂

Quality, gourmet doughnuts - exactly what I've been looking for since my other favorite place, Trou de Beigne, sadly closed. Woman who served me (one of the owners I'm assuming) was very kind. Love that the flavours rotate.
What a great place. The chocolate babka doughnuts are out of this world great. All the doughnuts are excellent. I froze them to keep them fresh longer & the freeze so well. Highly recommend
Great doughnut shop, great flavours. Love that they go for an interesting variety of options & avoid those trendy doughnuts you see elsewhere that are super basic with a just bunch of stuff piled on top. However, coffee wasn't very good & there is no washroom for customers who choose to dine-in. 5 star doughnuts, 3 star everything else. Get them to go.
I make it a point to try donuts in most cities I visit. I've tried in Pittsburgh, Toronto, London ON, & all around Montreal, & these are handsdown THE most well-crafted donuts I have tasted.
I tried:
1. The blueberry corn - Incredible blueberry jelly. It was punchy & not too sweet. They also did not overfill it, so it balanced well with the corn-infused dough.
2. Cinnamon chocolate - elite chocolate glaze & great crunchy surprises at different points inside the dough, all without being too heavy.
3. Strawberry almond - another great jelly donut, with a beautiful almond crumble finish on top.
These guys are the real deal. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
A lot of so-called artisanal donuts in the city are just fluffy dough with some aromatic glaze or fillings but these donuts are special. I love that you can get them in different styles & the flavours are not just after thought as a glaze: the whole donut is conceived to be a better sum of all parts from the texture to combination of flavors. Something that sounds as simple as honey & sunflower seed becomes a masterpiece in a cruller. I love them so much that twice in a row their donuts were the birthday'cake' of my choice. Also extremely decent people in an industry full of jerks
i kept coming back for/daydreaming about the rhubarb donut ngl! tried other ones too & they all carried the same superb artisanal quality with thoughtful funky flavours but the rhubarb really scratches the itch for me. the thin simple sugar icing is perfect, the slightly chewy & savoury dough is perfect, then comes the lightly acidic, well-balanced rhubarb sauce filling…
also loveeeed the sour hibiscus icing & the highly sour lime & tangerine flavour combo, very unique! appreciate the coffee & tea availability as well as flavoured sparkling water (cans) on the menu.
the place is cute with lots of natural light. less busy during the week!
staff was nice & always asked if we liked the food afterwards.

If you want donuts that taste like actual food & not just dough with sugar on it, this is the place. The mango coconut was a flavour bomb of goodness in my mouth.
