The Alfa Romeo of donuts. Unexpected flavor combos like mango chili & earl grey, & the most decadent apple fritter laced with just the right hint of spice. The textures are spot-on, from a light, airy cruller to a satisfyingly dense old fashioned. These donuts feel serious & refined, but the vibe is friendly & unpretentious. A lot of so-called artisanal donuts in the city are just fluffy dough with some aromatic glaze or fillings but these donuts are special. I love that you can get them in different styles & the flavours are not just after thought as a glaze: the whole donut is conceived to be a better sum of all parts from the texture to combination of flavors. Something that sounds as simple as honey & sunflower seed becomes a masterpiece in a cruller. I love them so much that twice in a row their donuts were the birthday'cake' of my choice. i kept coming back for/daydreaming about the rhubarb donut ngl! tried other ones too & they all carried the same superb artisanal quality with thoughtful funky flavours but the rhubarb really scratches the itch for me. the thin simple sugar icing is perfect, the slightly chewy & savoury dough is perfect, then comes the lightly acidic, well-balanced rhubarb sauce filling…
also loveeeed the sour hibiscus icing & the highly sour lime & tangerine flavour combo, very unique! appreciate the coffee & tea availability as well as flavoured sparkling water (cans) on the menu.
the place is cute with lots of natural light. less busy during the week!

Nous y sommes allés sur un coup de tête, sans regret! On y est même déjà retournés pour essayer ceux qu'on n'avait pas déjà goûtés. Le staff est vraiment au courant du produit, font des recommandations.
Je vous suggère d'ailleurs si vous en prennez plus qu'un, de tester dans une catégorie de beigne différente, ils ont plus qu'un choix de type de pâte à beigne, tout est vraiment bon mais on a un favorit, soit celui à l'ancienne au citron pavot.
