About

Bei - Beiroots serves a curated selection of Lebanese cuisine, emphasizing traditional preparation methods for its signature sandwiches and fresh salads. The menu highlights bold Mediterranean flavors through meticulously seasoned meats, creamy house-made hummus, and crisp, hand-cut vegetables sourced for peak freshness. Patrons select from various protein options, such as marinated chicken or savory beef, folded into warm pita bread with authentic garlic toum or tahini sauce. The kitchen prioritizes speed and consistency, ensuring that each handheld meal maintains a distinct textural balance between crunchy garnishes and tender fillings. Vibrant tabbouleh and fattoush salads provide a refreshing counterpart to the richer, protein-heavy staples found across the menu. This establishment offers a straightforward, focused culinary experience that centers entirely on the quality and authenticity of its classic Levantine ingredients and recipes.

Review Summary

Bei is widely regarded as a standout destination in Montreal for authentic Lebanese cuisine, with many diners praising the freshness of the ingredients, the quality of the Saj bread, and the flavorful shawarma options. The restaurant is frequently described as clean, stylish, and welcoming, offering a comfortable atmosphere that caters well to students and professionals alike. While the majority of reviews highlight exceptional service and generous portions at fair prices, a few visitors noted inconsistencies in wait times, seasoning preferences, or professional conduct among staff. Overall, it is highly recommended as a must-try spot for those seeking a genuine taste of Beirut in a modern downtown setting.

The service was good & the place is clean, the prices are great for downtown, they have a trio deal: chicken shawarma with fries & coke for 10$ which is great. The reason I gave the food 3 stars simply because the sandwich doesn't have much chicken & I felt bloated after, I felt like I got full from the fries more.. but also I'm getting old so my stomach is not handling greasy foods very well. But for the price it's a great place for students.

I saw their restaurant from a review on TikTok from EveryEatsPossivle so I figured why not give it a try.
I can say 100% after eating here, it was so worth trying.

The owner & staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful, the interior decor was both stunning & clean but mostly importantly, the food was delicious.

I took 2 different pitas that the owner recommended, the beef bei pita & batata pita.

The beef bei no joke was definitely one of the best beef pitas I've ever had, the seasonings & juiciness from the beef mixed in with the sauce & other condiments made it worth every penny spent.

As for the batata, my best comparison to it is a cream cheese vegetable sandwich but turned into a pita, they even added zaatar chips which gave it an extra bit of crunch.

On top of all that, they have a nice 10$ pita trio deal & even discounts if you are a Concordia student.

So overall this place is awesome, if you haven't had their food yet, then I highly recommend to try it at least once.
