I absolutely loved my experience at Beden Caphe! Their new breakfast menu is amazing-my favorites were the fluffy bêgels with Vietnamese sausages, BBQ pork, & Italian charcuterie, plus the buttery croissant with homemade Vietnamese charcuterie. The drinks were just as incredible, especially the Vietnamese egg latté & matcha white chocolate.
The owner is the sweetest person ever-so warm & caring, she made sure everything was perfect. If you're in Montreal, you have to check out this spot at 1708 Laurier Ave E. Highly recommend!View more

This coffee shop was suggested by a friend & it did not disappoint. From the moment you step in, you're welcomed with a cozy atmosphere & an inviting vibe that makes you feel right at home. The menu- I feel - has a little something for everyone. I was there for a coffee ended up trying a soup & a Pattie, the variety of drinks, light bites & full meal options is well balanced & not overdone! The staff are warm & attentive, adding to the delightful experience. I explained I was lactose intolerant (yes I'm that annoying person) & I was still able to get a really yummy matcha tea! A true gem! I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend for lunch date or coffee lovers!!View more

Let me start by saying that the owner is the sweetest human being. She's so funny, caring & makes sure your food is good. I tried the new breakfast menu with the bêgel. I tried all five of them (cochonne,nem de linh, tuna, ciao bella & figue-cotta) & oh my god they are so good & fresh! My favorites were ciao bella, cochonne & figue-cotta. Also tried the pâté sô de bê & it was so flaky & flavorful. For the drinks, I tried the hot chocolate with grilled marshmallows, white hot chocolate with candy cane & salted caramel viet câphé latte with egg & they were all delicious. For sure I will visit this place again!View more

The service is exactly what you'd expect from a cozy coffee shop, making you feel right at home. & when Bé is working, forget about it! She's full of energy, always smiling, & somehow makes everything better. Now, let's talk about the food. Best Paté Chô in town, hands down. & their soups? Pure Vietnamese comfort. It's hard to not fall in love with the charm of Bêden Càphê. From the decor, to the food & to the welcoming staff, this place will easily become your go-to coffee shop. I have tasted multiple coffee styles, drinks, meals: they are all tasty & provide that comforting sensation. I love that it is family friendly with a chill cozy vibe. It is also a great place to sit & work at. You can also feel that the staff, especially Bê cares for her customers. She will learn your name & will remember your order for the next time. I highly recommend to go in the morning & get your hands on the croissant bánh mì. I could basically it that every morning. Their signature egg coffee & bê matcha are delicious, but I would also recommend to try the taro fog. You won't be disappointed!View more

A very beautifully & elaborately decorated cafe including a snack wall, vintage couches, & a fully functional piano (which someone played very well while I was there). I immediately tried the first Banh Mi sandwich on the menu & enjoyed every mouth-watering, delectable bite of it. Of course, I washed it down with a coffee. This is the first time I've had Vietnamese coffee with egg. I don't even usually drink coffee, but I absolutely loved this & tried to recreate it at home later the same day. (with limited success 😅) I was very satisfied after that glorious sandwich & coffee, but I needed to try more, so I went for the Matcha Taro iced tea. Quality matcha with a deep, vivid flavor & a lovely taro cream. Since we have an obsessive need to try as many places as possible, it's unusual for us to return to an establishment, but this one made it to the go-to list of cafés.View more

This place is simply amazing! Once you enter the café, you are transported to a tastefully decorated café with the sweetest owner. We fell in love with the book wall & piano corner. The owner actually takes the time to explain everything if you are indecisive like us! She truly cares about her customers & makes us very welcomed! The food & drinks are amazing, innovating, & just delicious! No wonder they have so many regular customers, I would go every day if I lived close by. A must try is their croissant banh mi, a nice twist to the classic banh mi, it's original & works perfectly! The pâté so is a must! Trust me! Their drink selections is getting bigger & bigger with the mastermind (owner) behind them who keeps coming up with new ideas, we love that! Wonderful coffee, friendly service & cute ambiance. For drinks, I highly recommend the Vietnamese coffee or, if you have an extra large sweet tooth, the egg coffee in particular. Food is very well priced for the area & the portions are generous too! Great sandwiches & soups, although I've yet to try the pastries. There's no WiFi so you can't work from the cafe currently which is a shame as I'd love to spend more time there but it just means you have to socialize to pass the time instead. & there's always room for a friend with their spacious seating! Highly recommended. Edit: WiFi is now available & I see lots of people working at the tables during the day.View more

Cute Vietnamese neighbourhood café. Nice decor (Vietnamese hats, old books, a piano, cherry blossoms...) They sell Italian & Vietnamese coffee. The Vietnamese Egg Latte is a must try! They have a breakfast menu (croissants) & a regular menu which includes banh mì (Vietnamese sandwiches), poutines, baos, meal soups & some appetizers. You order at the counter & they bring your food & drink to the table. Prices are very reasonable. Their banh mì are very crispy & tasty. This coffeeshop is very relaxing. It's a great place to meet with friends over a coffee & banh mì. The owner Bê is there everyday. She is very outgoing & fun to chat with.View more

This is my new favorite coffee shop in all of Montreal. It's quite literally a one minute walk from my place! The decor is incredible & you can tell a lot of thought was put into it as well as into the menu. I'm a huge fan of Vietnamese coffee, so their coffee menu is like a dream come true. The banh mi are the freshest I've tasted & the sweet potato poutine is delicious & unique. I highly recommend just trying out everything on the menu because you won't be disappointed. Bê is welcoming & sweet & will remember your name if you become a regular. She has a lot of love for the place & you can taste it in the food & drinks. This coffee shop brings me joy!View more
