The owners acknowledged us & waited a few short minutes before we were seated. The service exemplifies why they have been a success for 8 decades. Gordon Ramsey would be delighted to dine here. We know we will be more than happy to return there.
Stopped by for breakfast this morning. Overall, it was pretty good. Since we were a larger party (booths saved for 3-6 people), we were able to get right in. The service was excellent, especially regarding refilling drinks. They would come out periodically to top off water & coffee, which was great. Once we ordered the food, it came out pretty quick. The food was pretty good, but not great compared to other diners we have been to.
Just a great Montreal diner/institution. Service is super friendly & always with a smile. Get the mish-mash, comes with a st Viateur Bagel. It's a scrambled egg mashup with onions, salami, & hot dogs - paired with potatoes. The orange juice is fresh squeezed too! Lots of photos on the walls of famous people who have been there. Just a great experience!
Food comforting but not original. Oversold. Nice experience but not worth lineup.
Typical diner with a modern healthier twist. Jewish/American cuisine. The orange juice is freshly made & the coffee is meh!
fifteen dollars for a Caesar that you have to concoct yourself. Amazing
We got lucky & arrived right before a line formed. Everyone is so nice, the food was delish. The atmosphere is friendly & happy. We would go again.
