Ne changez absolument rien, sauf si le monde avec leurs laptops se plantent pour des heures & tuent l'atmosphère; des restrictions durant les heures de pointes. En tout cas, dessert qui disparaît après la première bouchée, & excellent espresso.
Je suis venu manger dimanche & l'ambiance était vraiment incroyable ! L'accueil était chaleureux, & un mot spécial pour le jeune homme à la porte : très sympathique & professionnel. Une super expérience du début à la fin. Je recommande vivement !
I came on a Monday June 30th at 2:45 pm . We were seated & immediately told we had 5 mins to order for the lunch / kitchen was closing at 3 pm !!! We felt super stressed as we cycled from the old port . This was a special occasion as my wife was 8 months post opened heart surgery . We wanted to celebrate but felt super stressed as we were immediately told to order otherwise we were screwed for food !! Ordered a sandwich , pasta a glass of wine & beer . Was given one menu which we were sharing quickly etc etc . We were sitting at the window inside & noticed other clients ordering from the terrace after we finished our lunch so of course I asked the menu & ordered a entree which we missed in the rush of being told to order . Ordered a ricotta foccacia Honey snd more drinks etc later the person who greeted us brought us two chocolatine in a paper bag to take home . I guess he realized it was inappropriate ! Later another server asked if we wanted one or two bills . I said one & brought us the bill & came with payment machine . I told her the lunch bill is 150$ & we will be ordering more stuff as we just wanted to listen to the music & feel humble & grateful be there healthy etc The server said the paper bag on the table made her think we were leaving ! Finally I didn't order anything else & decided to leave ! I gave you 5 stars all around as we are grateful to be healthy & appreciate everything life has to offer . You really need to look at your workflow as many different people came to our table & missed the interaction flow & service from the previous person . I was ordering drinks all along etc Gracias for the chocolatine but you missed out on the human component of why we came to your place . Its was not only about the food the reason we came . In all the moving parts it takes one person to look at the floor & tables & quickly see what experience each table is looking for . It's special when you tune into that as you make a difference in a day of a person / create memories etc Great summe

Endroit sympathique & nourriture excellente, toutefois les mocktails au même prix ou même plus cher que des cocktails avec alcool... & aussi, aucune ombre sur leur terrasse.
Honestly, a very solid spot. The terrace vibe was absolutely sublime-perfect for a relaxed evening out. The food was consistently great across the board, but the focaccia really stood out-fresh, fluffy, & full of flavor.
I'd highly recommend this place. It feels like a true hidden gem in Montreal, with the right balance of atmosphere, quality food, & friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

Everything about this place was simply amazing! From the moment we walked in, the staff's attention & warmth set the tone. Sitting outside on the cozy terrace made the experience even more enjoyable. & the food? Delicious every single dish we ordered was tasty. This place truly exceeded my expectations, & I'll definitely be coming back !
J'ai beaucoup entendu parler de Bar Bara & j'avais vraiment hâte de vivre l'expérience. Nous avons malheureusement été déçus du service & nous ne retournerons pas à ce restaurant. Une de mes entrées préférées sont les arancinis & nous y allions spécifiquement pour les essayer & à notre arrivée le serveur nous a dit que les arancinis seraient seulement disponible dans 1heure. Nous avons commandés d'autres entrées, en attendant ainsi que le plat principal. 1 heure après, nous avons demandé si les enfin arancinis étaient disponibles & on nous dit que finalement il n'y en aurait pas du tout de toute la soirée! Le serveur n'a même fini son service & a demandé a un autre serveur de nous faire payer. Lorsqu'on nous nous dirigions vers la sortie le serveur nous a vu, a détourné le regard, & nous a même pas dit au revoir. Je ne comprend pas qu'est ce qu'on a fait pour recevoir cette attitude. De plus, nous avions commandé les pâtes cacio e pepe & celles au ragu, & les deux baignaient dans l'huile, on mangeait quasiment une soupe d'huile. Vraiment déçus de l'expérience en général.
Restaurant très sympa avec des plats à la cartes délicieux. Le personnel est très serviable mais le service est long. Je recommande pour passer un bon moment !
Great spot for a get together with friends, lively vibes, good energy, loud music & good food! Just wish there was a dedicated vegan option. The chef will whip something up for you if you have allergies but you just have to put your faith in him. I did & was pleasantly surprised!
