Update: updating this review to five stars, after returning several months later, I was not charged for a side of mayo, & staff even remembered this review & joked about it during our dinner - much to the dismay of some of my coworkers present, embarrassed by me 😂 Loved feeling like they listened to customer feedback. As I said before, will gladly return again. Delicious & excellent service.

The drinks were delicious & the burger was quite tasty, cooked well & juicy with a fresh soft bun. The whole group enjoyed the food & their drinks. We liked the atmosphere & the service was timely. Food & drink prices were reasonable for the quality & the times we live in.
That said, I requested a side of mayonnaise with my burger/fries. They charged 3.50$ for a small dipping cup of mayo, which is highway robbery!! They never mentioned it would cost extra, & even so, how can you possibly justify the price? Management should consider reviewing this price in their system or stop charging entirely, it's unreasonable.
Will definitely come back, but with packets of sauce in my pocket next time, lol!View more

Cute vibe for drinks & dinner if you're catching up with a friend or going on a date! The fries were very salty which is why I docked a star. I asked for a remake of the fries & the second batch was just as salty. Maybe ask for light salt!View more
My daughter & I went late (around 11:00) a few nights ago. When we were seated, our server told us the menu was online, on their website. So, we figured out drinks & got those quickly enough. & then...nothing. We waited about 10 minutes & I finally got up to ask our server if we could order food. She told us the kitchen closed at 10:00!?! I asked her why she didn't tell us that when we got there (she had just said "menu" not "drink menu"). So, it was a total waste of time, since we specifically went out for a late meal after a long day. The server was apologetic, but didn't offer to comp one of our drinks, nothing. I checked everything I could find online, & nowhere does it say there is no food after 10pm.View more
Bar Pomplemousse? More like bar Pompousmousse. Ok. Dad joke aside. We arrived & despite it being not overly busy, we had to wait an extremely long time to get seated. We then got menus fairly fast, but then waited again for at least 15 minutes for any service came to take our order. We actually started a timer on my phone to see how long we had to wait. The drinks were great. We then waited for a check up. We waited & no one came to ask if we wanted another drink or the cheque. We decided to leave. We waited *again* at the exit waiting for anyone to come by to let us pay the bill. We started a timer yet again. The main bartender finally came & we paid our bill. First time not leaving a tip. Didn't like having to do that. The guy was really nice & apologetic, but the service at least in our experience was kind of garbage. I have been coming to Pamplemousse for several years & I always love it! Great atmosphere, big (dog friendly) terrace in the summer, really nice & professional staff, fun drinks & great food! One of my favorite places to get food while I'm having a drink. Their menu has changed a lot over the years & still changes, but it's always good. I don't think they had their pizzas last time I was there but those were always delicious. The carrots are also really nice. It can be a bit busy sometimes in peak summer, evening time but it's worth it if you can get a seat. A little pricey but it's place des arts so it's mostly on par with the area.View more
Service on the dog friendly patio was extremely slow for everything except water, plan on either having a snack before you arrive or ordering all of your drinks & food the first time you get a server. Food was amazing though (burger & burrata). Note menu recently changed & pizza is no longer available.View more

The food was outstanding & words cannot describe how delicious the halibut crudo was! Prices are on par with other restaurants & the food & drinks were amazing. The tabbouleh salad & carrots were stand out as well - really well balanced dishes. The atmosphere was fun & the service was great. Highly recommend!View more

I came here because I saw an oyster menu picture from another review. The oyster is good & affordable btw! As for the drinks, if you're not sure what you want, we can always ask the staff for recommendations because they are cool & nice! One piece of advice maybe turn the music down a bit? It's not overly blasted anyway, but this is a cozy place, it would be nicer if we can have a bit quieter ambience so it's even easier to talk. All in all, I'm happy with my experience here & would come back if I'm in town & urge for drinks & oysters!View more

I’ve tried many dishes at Bar Pamplemousse. Some are so tasty like the plantain burger & pizza some are good. The Jerk Chicken was nice but did not like much the ceviche. The combination was a bit weird & did not feel as if it is a fresh ceviche. The shrimps alone are delicious but not with that sauce & plantain. The chorizo pizza is really special on a thin crust. The burger is unusual & the combination is so yummy. You can find as well a variety of beers & wine. I have taste a few & none disappointed me. They were all super delicious with different taste & choice. It is a cute & romantic restaurant. It gets loud sometimes & too dark but the candles make it a cute ambiance. I will go back to just & take what I’ve been having. Probably for more drinks.View more
