Good music & vibe. Food was underwhelming. Jerk chicken was underseasoned. Don't get the pizza. You'd pop Delissio in the oven for something similar & much better value.
This place is okay if it's late & you want to grab a bite... but food is pretty bad. The falafel sandwich was okay, but the mushroom pizza is really sad. Had no flavour at all. If you ask for spicy oil, they charge you +3$. We also ordered some fries & asked for ketchup, we never got it.
Good place, very crowded at the time of going. The jazz fest was on, so not their fault if the restaurant was literally full. Just an ok service, a bit rushed. Food is good but not incredible. Would still recommend for a quick bite with friends before going out to see a show somewhere, since they're located not far away from the quartier des spectacles. Had a good time with friends there.
I come in once a month for the murga event upstairs. ( Live Salsa music & Dj(Vynils). Excelent atmosphere. Sometime it gets too crowded but is because the event is too popular sometimes. You can go downstairs & take fresh air once in a while :) Mejor evento de salsa in town on my opnion! ;)
L'hôtesse était très désagréable à notre arrivée. Nous avons attendu presque 10 minutes qu'elle nous emmène à une table (la terrasse était seule & elle était assise là à ne rien faire), nous avons décidé de nous asseoir & elle est venue nous crier dessus, pauvre folle. Nous voulions juste prendre quelques bières mais après son attitude désastreuse, nous avons décidé d'aller dans un endroit beaucoup plus agréable. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
I recently came back after several visits over the last couple years. Somehow food & service, vibes now just became mediocre. Used to love their jerk chicken with rice, jerk chicken sandwich(ummm the best!) so sad they changed their menu, their food used to be so much better with something that you cannot find from other places. + Don't order aperol spritz here. If you order aperol spritz, they will still take your order with no warning or no heads-up, then will surprise you with some campari or fiero instead which taste completely different from aperol. Please, if you don't serve aperol spritz please explain it in advance!
I don't mean to be rude but I had such high expectations & none were met. Food - very average. I ordered spicy lamb pizza & it was not at all spicy. I requested for tabasco but the service was so bad that a tiny bottle of tabasaco came after 20mins (I done eating with my pizza by then). Atmosphere was also avg, nothing u won't get anywhere else. I feel sad that I spent 60 bucks & it was nothing special. We ended by going to le central because I was hungry & didn't feel like spending another 60.
Went a couple of time & always forget why I don't like this place. It looks good & the food is great, but honestly who wants to loose their earring when they go to a bar ? Also putting some really bad 2000s DJ bro is not giving.
Had a lovely time sitting at the bar with my wife. I didn't get the bartenders name, but she is a pro! These are the best drinks I have had in Montreal. She was a delight to chat with as well.
Love this place so much we went three times (once for drinks, twice for food & drink!) during a week-long work trip. Food is incredible, drinks are fab. Can't wait to go back.
