Bar Pomplemousse? More like bar Pompousmousse. Ok. Dad joke aside. We arrived & despite it being not overly busy, we had to wait an extremely long time to get seated. We then got menus fairly fast, but then waited again for at least 15 minutes for any service came to take our order. We actually started a timer on my phone to see how long we had to wait. The drinks were great. We then waited for a check up. We waited & no one came to ask if we wanted another drink or the cheque. We decided to leave. We waited *again* at the exit waiting for anyone to come by to let us pay the bill. We started a timer yet again. The main bartender finally came & we paid our bill. First time not leaving a tip. Didn't like having to do that. The guy was really nice & apologetic, but the service at least in our experience was kind of garbage. Again, that was our experience, & yours may be different. & I want to stress that the drinks were good. I hope they take this review & re assess their service
The dishes are excellent, I highly suggest the carrots & hummus couldn't even choose which one I liked more, the atmosphere is great & your bartender Sam provides excellent service, I'll definitely be back.
Excellent cocktails & super comfy sofas. Staff is mostly nice, can be a bit dry when it's very busy but that's to be expected. It's also nice the the music volume is just perfect, not so loud that you can't have a conversation.

Delicious food which cooked professionally & presentations was also amazing! Atmosphere was very delightful with lovely touches of wood & dim lighting. Wine was very good & Amy our lovely young waitress was very nice 👌❤️
J'y suis allé le 2024-08-28 & j'ai adoré mon expérience. J'ai pris le burger & il était vraiment excellent. Le service était bon & j'ai aimé les bières que j'ai consommées. J'ai aimé l'ambiance & la décoration à l'intérieur. Je recommande fortement l'endroit!

I have been coming to Pamplemousse for several years & I always love it! Great atmosphere, big (dog friendly) terrace in the summer, really nice & professional staff, fun drinks & great food! One of my favorite places to get food while I'm having a drink. Their menu has changed a lot over the years & still changes, but it's always good. I don't think they had their pizzas last time I was there but those were always delicious. The carrots are also really nice. It can be a bit busy sometimes in peak summer, evening time but it's worth it if you can get a seat. A little pricey but it's place des arts so it's mostly on par with the area.
Service on the dog friendly patio was extremely slow for everything except water, plan on either having a snack before you arrive or ordering all of your drinks & food the first time you get a server. Food was amazing though (burger & burrata). Note menu recently changed & pizza is no longer available.
Absolutely spectacular! The staff is so welcoming, kind & knowledgeable without being cloying. Then variety of beers is terrific & some delicious wines. The real highlight was the food - just WOW. Delicious! Perfect balance. Highly recommend. Order everything on the menu!
Incredible food!!! The flavours were amazing! We sampled each of the sharing dishes. Literally said'oh my god' with most bites:) Staff, drinks, & environment also really fantastic 😃
Haven't even left the table yet & needed to leave a review. If you're not trying this place out while you're in Montreal, then you are missing out. The cocktails & the beer are fantastic. The menu is perfectly curated & the flavors are truly impeccable. The burger, falafel, cucumber salad & homemade bread were insanely delicious & seasoned with perfection. You can tell they care about using quality ingredients here. & they have outdoor patio seating! More importantly, the staff are exceptionally kind & courteous, something you can't say for many food establishments in this city.
Belle adresse ! J'ai pris le sandwich falafel qui était très bon. Enfin un bar qui sert du Lillet :-) Les prix sont un poil au dessus d'un bar classique mais parce que l'endroit est un poil plus chic (sans être trop fancy). Bonne musique d'ambiance & bon service également !
