Manager Rachael Santarossa is an outstanding leader. Nacarat is a well oiled machine. Everything was exceptional, drinks, service & professional hospitality from Raphael, Greg, Bonaventure, Dominic & Nabil. Fairmont is fortunate to employ this team. Had an amazing time. Stumbled on this place by accident & by far the most enjoyable experience I've had at any establishment in Montreal. The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable & very efficient. They weren't overbearing at all letting us enjoy the amazing music & atmosphere, but always close by in case we needed anything. A big thank you to the manager as well, although the terrasse had been closed for over two weeks he exceptionally opened it for us so we could take a few pictures & even helped us take a few pictures of me & my friend too! The drinks were outstanding & so was the food I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I will 100% be back!!!
The Nacarat experience is a pretty typical Montreal rooftop bar experience, for good & bad reasons. For one, most of the city's rooftop bars are not really that high up, & this is no exception. However it's placement over Place Ville Marie, facing the direction of the mountain makes great use of the elevation for a fantastic view in both daylight & nighttime. Although this bar closes at 10:30pm, nighttime would be limited as this is not really a bar for nightlife. Aside from some shared tables, the space does not exactly encourage mingling but it's certainly possible if you are feeling social. Our server was a gem, very polite & understanding. Was not pushy at all for me to order a drink while I waited for my friend who was very late. The signature cocktail menu disappointed me however. It just felt forced, odd ingredients being thrown together that did not seem complimentary unless you use your imagination to make them so. I'm not pretending to be more of an expert mixologist than whoever was behind it but from my tastes it was not working. I did try the daquiri & had absolutely no idea why there was red wine in it. Was not complimentary to the flavour at all, probably done just for the floating red colour in the drink. Did not try any food. The prices are cutthroat as well but this is to be expected given this is the Fairmont rooftop bar.
The drink was good but.... We saw the manager repeatedly take fruits & eat them from the same containers they took fruits to put in my drink
Then we saw a server pour wine from one bottle to another & then serve it to clients.
I'd expect a lot more from a Fairmount establishment...
Good terrasse, nice & tasty drinks. They change the cocktail menu so you can have a new experience.
It has a classy-chic environment. In my opinion for age 30+. Nice music, & the lights of the city makes the evening special.
Guys highlight. The service. Even that I hadn't any reservation, I could have a table with my friend & during the night all the staff was so attentive, even that'we were not his assigned table', suggestions of drinks & food were just wonderful. So that might be a Cheeers! smuack!

amazing views of montreal & a great spot to enjoy drinks & appetizers. great atmosphere with an extensive cocktail list & bites. service was very friendly,efficient & professional. prices were a bit high, but expected for such a spot. live dj with music.
Visited Nacarat terrace on a beautiful summer evening & thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The vibes & views were exactly what I was looking for. The drinks were unique & delicious - made by award-winning bartender Nabil (@nabilbartender). It was as much fun to watch his flare while mixing cocktails as it was to drink them. All of the staff were personable & very accommodating (Rafael, Bona, Dom) which contributed to evening's atmosphere. I will definitely be back. Thanks Nacarat!
Only review for drinks. Coolest cocktail menu with handwritten designs & descriptions. Rare to find many places that provide so much detail & thought into their menu! The service was quick & the bartender both friendly & very knowledgeable. Highly recommend as a place to stop in for drinks!
When U serve the cold drink 🍹 please give a tissue with, at 6:30 U are not that much busy, Thx. We have been there just for drinks 🍹 we didn't take a risk & had a dinner somewhere else. Atmosphere is good.

Mixed feeling experience for a birthday party. I booked over 2 months ahead of time for 20 people. I asked if I could bring helium balloons, & they accepted. I also asked to bring a cake, which they accepted for a cutting fee of 5$ per person, to keep it in the fridge, & to use candles & sparkling candles that I would provide. I also had a few calls weeks before to clarify some points with them, & everything seemed to be good. 4h before the event started, I got a call saying that they wouldn't be able to keep the cake in the fridge, because they aren't a restaurant. I was already on my way with the cake & balloons, so we discussed with the manager. He accepted to take the cake before the event, but refused to keep it after the event while we were going out to a party after. They also refused to take the balloons I brought because it would mess with their ambiance that they want to keep chic. After discussing, they accepted to keep only the two balloons representing the birthday numbers. I then lost all of my other helium balloons. When they brought the cake, they didn't bring any of the sparkling candle that we agreed upon, just the two candles with two birthday numbers. The event was planned to be on the terrasse with a view, but because it rained that day they installed us indoor on small tables. We couldn't order individual plates per lack of space, so we had to make it a buffet, ordering a lot of the sharing options they offer. However, they didn't even have enough of what we ordered. & while being expensive, these snacks are not easily shareable, & not worth the price. The good things: -The drinks tasted good. -The one waiter tried to accommodate us as much as he could, with a nice smile. -Nice atmosphere inside. Cons: -Because of their lack of organization or clear rules, they added a lot of pressure & stress on me 4h before the event while it was booked for over 2 months. -I lost so much money & wasted my time for items that they accepted ahead of time but in the end refused to use. -They provide only 1 bill for groups, so enjoy your time to split it after (it was mentioned during the reservation). -The shareable options are good if you are only 2 or 3 on it, but expensive for the size & taste. I recommend for casual drinks in an intimate setting, but not for group or organized event.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Nacarcat, & nabilbartenderI must say, it was an experience to remember. The ambiance of the place was the first thing that caught my attention-chic, modern, & welcoming, with a touch of sophistication that sets the perfect tone for an evening out. The highlight of my visit, however, was the amazing cocktail I ordered. From the moment it arrived at my table, I was impressed by the presentation. The vibrant colors & garnishes were artfully arranged, making it almost too beautiful to drink. But drink it I did, & it was nothing short of spectacular. The first sip was a revelation. The balance of flavors was impeccable-each ingredient was carefully chosen & expertly mixed to create a harmonious blend that was both refreshing & complex. The use of fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident, & the cocktail had a perfect balance of sweetness, acidity, & a hint of bitterness. It was clear that the mixologist at Nacarcat is a master of their craft. What truly set this cocktail apart was the depth of flavor. As I sipped, I discovered new notes & nuances that kept my taste buds intrigued & delighted. There was a subtle hint of citrus that brightened the drink, a touch of herbal complexity that added depth, & a smooth, lingering finish that made me savor every last drop. The staff at Nacarcat were also a significant part of the experience. They were knowledgeable, friendly, & passionate about their craft, making excellent recommendations & ensuring that every aspect of my visit was enjoyable. In conclusion, my experience at Nacarcat was nothing short of exceptional. The ambiance, the service, &, most importantly, the outstanding cocktail, made it a night to remember. Je suis un fanatique du QEH que je considère le meilleur hôtel de Montréal mais malheureusement un mauvais moment à l'ouverture de la terrasse du Nacarat. - Table mal située avec une branche de plante (réservation d'avance & client Diamond ALL) - Plus de 15 minutes pour avoir mon 1er drink sans rien - J'ai jamais reçu mes olives - 2e drink, aucune connaissance de la carte proposée donc je demande la carte ... plus rien ... 5 min plus tard, je quitte Je suis partie sans mon 2e drink Un gros potentiel à rôder , bcp de boss mais peu d'exécutant donc ils sont débordés

Our experience was fantastic. The manager Raphael was amazing & treated us & his staff with kindness. He was extremely helpful. The bar staff Dominic & Bonaventura were over the top, & created some of the best drinks we have ever had. The wait staff Allee, Nadia & Jerome were informative & attentive. Also the food was fabulous ( charcuterie platter, lamb chops & boneless chicken). I believe Raphael had a lot to do with the teamwork! Thanks Michele & Paul
