Great little haunt to grab a delicious bite & cocktail or glass of wine. Eclectic vinyl set being spun during our sojourn. The thon cru & salade d'abricots were delightful.

favorite restaurant in the city. the owner is so nice, the food changes regularly but still has the same incredible flavor & uniqueness. bonus points tip & taxes are included

Absolutely amazing small plates, variety of interesting flavors & fresh ingredients. My standout favorite dishes were the tuna crudo & apricot salad. Absolutely breathtaking culinary experiences with both those dishes. Also, the music playing from the dj with the vinyl turntable was perfectly downtempo & in the background, it perfectly fit the vibe of the restaurant & i thoroughly enjoyed watching the dj play. One thing to note was for me that everything was a little bit too salty, I didn't notice it really while eating but afterwards I was very overly thirsty.

Kind of a hidden gem, I'm surprised this place is not super hyped up. The food is unassuming at first glance, but every dish I tried was a flavour bomb. The cocktails are very fun & quirky & they have lots of natural wine. The acoustics were nice & could pleasantly hold a conversation. Great place for a date. Something peculiar the prices on the menus include tax & they don't take tips, which I'm surprised they don't talk about more, so when the bill came I was pleasantly surprised how affordable it was since I was mentally prepared to have to add tip & tax on top.

Decided to try Bar Minou after reading the amazing reviews. That said, my experience at this restaurant was abysmal. Arrived & was offered a small table & told that I would be provided with a space at the bar once one became available. Watched two couples leave the bar without being offered a place. Ordered a bottle of wine & was told that the wine we requested was'a big ask'. We asked that if the wine we requested was not available, could we be provided with a comparable wine to which the waiter explained he had only been working there for two weeks & wasn't necessarily able to sample the wines in stock. It took 20 minutes to retrieve the bottle (which was not the one we requested, as it was unavailable). We were provided with the alternate & when we asked if it was a similar profile the waiter explained that he thought so. We advised the waiter that we had requested a place at the bar & he agreed that we could move but we would need to remind him. We also told the waiter we were intending to order food, but he never came back to take our order. We decided 45 minutes into our evening that we would finish our bottle of wine & go elsewhere for food (which we did). Would def not recommend.
