Awful service & overpriced, disappointing food. As soon as I walked in the waiters were extremely awkward & made me feel like an idiot. Which I guess I was for spending my money there. My friends & I ordered the cauliflower entrée, the veggies, fries & the Caesar salad, plus drinks. Drinks were fine, fries were ok, but the cauliflower tasted too much of vinegar. The veggie plate was a horrendous letdown. The menu was unclear & our waitress did not tell us what the'veggie of the day was', so I ended up paying 9$ for a few long peppers. Saddest thing ever. When I told one waiter it was not what I expected, he kind of just shrugged it off & didn't offer an alternative or take away the accursed plate I did not want to eat. I expressed my disappointment to the waitress at the end, who didn't show me any special courtesy either. But the worst part of our meal was the Caesar salad, which ended up giving my friend diarrhea within minutes after we left. Because the waitress hovered over me as I paid, I ended up tipping her even though I had received terrible service. The only positive thing was the atmosphere. Love the vintage look of the place, but the food is a waste of money & the waiters just don't know how to treat customers with respect. Sadly a reoccurring theme with Gen Z employees.
My friends & I were sat on the couch, enjoying beautiful drinks & plates of food with incredible flavours.
I'll start with the food.
The cauliflower was so good, undoubtedly the highlight. We also ordered fries (some of the best crispy fries I've had, the sauce is to die for, please make a poutine???) + the bread & butter, the bread has this … charcoal-y profile as if it just was baked on volcanic rocks. It's a good thing. Really
We were so comfy, the vibes were chill on this Tuesday evening & music at the right volume to allow us to catch up & enjoy.
The service was impeccable, our waitress & her colleagues were always checking in on us.
I WILL be coming back to try the rest of the menu (& re-order everything I got)
4 of us went for drinks & dinner on Monday night. We have been to Sparrow's a few times before. The food is great, you can sample multiple small plates, the drinks are awesome & the service is always impeccable. Have not gone for the oysters yet, but that is the next step. I highly recommend this spot. & the atmosphere is very cool
Would have been a higher rating if not for the service. Small tables on the patio & when reordering drinks, the empty glasses just amass on the table. The waitress spilled the salad when serving, promissed to clean & vanished. So, very disorganized & in the end a mixed bag of feelings

Great menu - we loved all our dishes, great if you love middle eastern cuisine, & also a very appealing drinks selection for both coffee & cocktails. Service however was lacking. Servers ignored us when we arrived & didn't seem too happy to have us at any point. It was disappointing as this places had come highly recommended. On another note, it's nearly impossible to modify a reservation as it doesn't allow ok their website, & it's near impossible to get through to them on the phone.
Today, at 10 am, the place is nearly empty. By 11, it will be packed :) I ordered the Shakshuka brunch option, with extra merguez & extra feta & extra potatoes. The result can be seen in the pictures. But from the pictures, you can't possibly imagine how original & delicious it is !! ❤️ What a nice & welcome change from too many generic breakfast places which offer nothing special, & couldn't even be bothered to try 😢 Give this place a try, for brunch, & then come back, in the evening, for a cool cocktail 🍹 or drink 🍻 ... You won't regret it 😏

A great place to grab a drink, they have a nice selection of cocktails. I had a Fuego Fresco which was spicy & really good, followed by the Margarita Lime Kafir which was also great. You can pair that with some snacks or even a full meal as they do have a full restaurant. The food was good, the fries were excellent & the Karaage chicken served in little bite sized balls was very good, although I thought the sauce was a little too sweet. The service is fast & friendly & you can actually hear yourselves speak, which is a major plus compared to many other bars. It got a little louder as the time passed but still quite good.
Amazing vibe, & really eclectic & cool menu. The hot/cold brunch drinks are really good, which seems simple but like coffees & teas are presented so beautifully & are as exciting as the food items
