St. George is a great little gem in downtown Montreal. The atmosphere c'est tres magnifique! The DJ provided an upbeat Playlist that complimented the nouveau atmosphere while paying homage to the old school esthetic. The food was not the best albeit I did not get the servers recommendation due to my food limitations but the presentation was top tier. I usually dont enjoy eating at the bar, but the service was still good & the seats were comfortable. The food was somewhat under seasoned in my opinion, but still enjoyable. If you are looking for a chic spot to take a date, have some great cocktails & really get to know one another then this place is for you! Shout-out to the staff for their timely service considering it was a holiday & a little crowded.

If I can give the manager of special events zero star I would have. We called two weeks ago & discussed a private event for 30 people for July 10th, & after speaking with the manager we followed up with voice messages & emails to no avail. Today we called & she finally picked up the call, only to tell us this date is now not availble, & asked us to pick another date.
I don't recommend this place for anyone. Maybe just a drink at the bar.

Went to Bar George twice during our stay in Montreal. We travel the world for food & this was one of our best experiences. Far exceeds the experience at the nearby Michelin star restaurant that we also experienced. Staff was perfectly professional & knowledgeable. Cocktails were outstanding & the food was world class. Then you have to add in the building itself which is beautifully spectacular. Must go here on any trip to Montreal.

Quel endroit absolument magnifique pour dîner à Montréal. L'ambiance dans cette salle est tout simplement féerique avec ses boiseries sombres & ses détails architecturaux historiques.

Nous avons adoré l'attention portée aux détails, comme la petite lampe dorée qui illuminait parfaitement notre table. Tout était impeccable. Une expérience mémorable que je recommande sans hésiter à tous les amoureux de beaux cadres.

Oui Oui Oui! Outstanding. Highly recommend making reservations. This Michelin star restaurant is well worth it. Vintage atmosphere in a Historic building. Impeccable service. We tried the handmade pasta & seafood dishes. But the star of the serve was the Beef Wellington. Perfection. Dessert was lovely as well'Art on a plate'

Sat on the longue side & had a bit & a few drinks. The drinks are on the pricey side. Service was slow. Atmosphere was the reason why we booked a reservation.

L'hôtesse d'accueil a été exécrable avec nous alors que nous étions deux jeunes femmes on a demandé à être dans une salle ambiancé l'hôtesse nous place dans une salle familiale alors qu'on voulait être à côté du bar & du dj. On avait fait notre réservation & pourtant l'hôtesse a refusé de nous écouter, elle manquait de professionnalisme & de diplomatie. Je ne recommande pas le bar George pour les jeunes femmes qui veulent passer une soirée sympathique entre amies.
