I got food poisoning from there macarons & was very sick for 3 days.
I was able to do some testing of things I ate & was able to confirm with 100% certainty that it was the macarons.
When I communicated this to the business owner, she told me that this was not possible, brushed off my concern, & said no one else complained so she wasn't going to be doing anything further.
I'd strongly recommend you steer clear of this place & that food health & safety can help give them more training on how to prevent this in the future.
Amazing variety of drinks & the baked goods oh my god!!! Such a warm & welcoming place, bury me here when I die from ignoring my pre diabetes
Absolutely loved it.
We went for the mother's Day brunch & it was a lovely experience from start to finish.
It was paid in advance through the reservation process which made it that much more flawless during the lunch. Not having to deal with the bill & money makes the experience more pleasant.
The food was A1 for everything. Tea was delicious (Sensa, Macha, Ginger & tumeric & Earl Grey), the sandwiches were original but all made with great ingredients (shout out to the fresh mozza & pesto ❤?), the pastries were buttery, flaky, sweet, everything! Honestly, there was not a single item that we didn't love.
The staff was attentive yet not overbearing. It's a nice balance that allowed us to take our time but never feel like we were forgotten.
The place is on the smaller side but very cozy. The vibe & decorations were exactly what I want a high tea experience to feel like. Cute, delicate but with a bit of pizazz & humour.
For four people, the price felt very balanced for the service & food we received. Not too much or too little, but just right.
I definitely recommend it to whoever wants a high tea experience that's not pretentious but serves fresh & delicious food & tea.
Such a cute place! Great energy from the staff. Would 100% recommend
We came for the Peter Rabbit High Tea to celebrate Easter while visiting Montreal & were immediately charmed by the cozy vibe, music & cute decor on the 2nd floor seating area that reflected the Easter theme. The three-tiered tray of tasty food was generously portioned, especially the sandwiches. A delightful refreshing mocktail & a huge pot of tea were included. We loved the Easter themed macarons, mini bundt cakes & cookies!
The service was amazing as they frequently checked on us & when they noticed we were so full after the sandwiches & scones, they offered to pack the desserts for us to take away.
While we were there, we noticed we were the only ones dining upstairs. All customers came in to order something to take out. It felt like we had our own private oasis for the afternoon so we think this lovely cafe is a hidden gem. A hidden gem that we will definitely return to when we're back in Montreal!
I got served a lukewarm latte with the wrong milk - the barista or owner (?) didn't seem to be fond of listening to their clients & more focused on texting while on the job. Also they were extremely rude & gave off an unwelcoming vibe. I ordered a croissant which I had asked to be heated but again, the person serving me ignored my request. It's unlikely I will ever return & I hope for the sake of your future clientele that you show more care towards them. I only put one star because I had to put any at all.
