WE FOUND HAIR ON THREE DISHES *server was helpful Ordered 3 items & Thai milk tea ( Panang Chicken Curry, Beef Udon, & Garlic Pepper Shrimp) Garlic Pepper Shrimp was very bland, the taste were not up to our expectations. We love the Beef Udon & Panang Chicken Curry but we found a hair on both, our server was very friendly & offered us free Ice cream & the whole meal to be free. We got our ice cream & we happened to find another hair in the ice cream. We've been to Bangkok Express for several times, but this time we really did not enjoy the experience. Overall, the food tasted fair for the price, & we paid for the Thai milk tea, server was super helpful & patient (5 star for service), but the restaurant should really do a quality control.
Food was ok. Atmosphere was chic. Service was horrendous. Needed to ask to be given menus, then asked for water. Had to flag down the staff to order. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Once finished eating, we waited again to then have to ask to get the included coffee / tea. Finally had to hunt down staff to pay our bill. I'm a patient person, & luckily had nowhere to be but the wait at every step & to have to flag the staff down every time - less than ideal. They weren't particularly busy either so no excuses. Maybe we were just seated in the Bermuda triangle of tables? I won't be rushing back.
Used to be a semi-decent place, but they stopped caring about their customers.
Went here for a late lunch. Service: was a little slow(was not to busy), but the girl was so friendly & cheery even if she looked very stressed out. food: was good, but it was expensive & the amount they give was not that much. I get, inflation, but 18$ for fried rice is crazy for the amount that was given. Overall, food & service was good, but goodness was it expensive.
The new menu looks great. My favorite is the stirfry shrimp with basil & vegetables & a side order of sticky rice! So delicious. Love eating on the terrace.
It's a lovely restaurant. It's just that I'm very used to hardcore authentic Thai food (I even traveled to Thailand a couple of times), so this restaurant's foods taste Westernized. But this restaurant will be fine if you're a casual Thai food person.
Delicious food, nice place! I have been going here for years & I love it!
Halal!!!! Finally asian restaurant that doesn't toss everything in soya sauce an call it food & have halal option!!!!! 1. Customer service - 12/10. I did uber eats & had to call the restaurant. The girl on the phone was patient & courteous. 2. Their chicken items are Halal. Its a dream for Montreal muslims to have halal Asian spots. There isn't many options 3. Quality & Quantity - 100/10. I never had friend rice taste like this. It is extremely flavourful, yet very simple & light. I ordered 6 items everything tasted different to each other, unique & flavourful. 4. Price- 6/10 price could have been better. Please do not change the quality & taste. It was very refreshing to eat here. Please highlight on your website & uber eats you serve halal. Many will orde
