Review Summary

Bambou Rouge is widely recognized as a go-to spot for affordable and delicious Asian takeout in the area, with many patrons specifically praising the General Tao chicken and orange beef for their high quality and consistent temperature upon arrival. While the establishment is primarily geared toward delivery and quick pickup rather than a dine-in experience, the prompt service and value for money make it a popular choice for local meals. Recent feedback suggests some inconsistency in food quality and atmosphere, but overall, it remains a frequently recommended destination for those seeking reliable Chinese comfort food at an accessible price point.

The food was mediocre. Ordered the general Tao as well as the fried noodles with chicken/beef/shrimp. Unfortunately the noodles were soft & not crispy as in regular fried noodle recipes. It seems to be a small establishment & I wish it much success. I may try again for the other meals

General tao chicken was fine, about the same quality you'd find at any chinese place worth its salt. The peanut butter chicken, however, was dry & bland. I ate about half of it before trashing it. For a good peanut butter chicken. Try Nouilles Star in Montreal
