Review Summary

Bakery P. A. T. is a much loved bakery in Montreal known for its warm, European ambiance and a strong aroma of fresh bread on entry. It earns praise for standout items like a top notch baguette, croissants, canele, eclair, and other pastries, along with good coffee and a cozy space. Some reviews note prices for bread can be high and that service can feel inconsistent, with moments of attentive help balanced by longer waits or brief lapses in friendliness. The bakery is described as a neighborhood treasure by many, with a variety of pastries and a sense of place that makes you feel at home, and some say it is among the best in town. Overall, Bakery P. A. T. shines for quality and charm, while a few comments call for greater consistency and fairer value.

Absolutely amazing place to be at & experience the amazing creations of the bakery. We were there to eat breakfast & desserts 4 days in a row & it was beyond wonderful. The store staff are super kind & welcoming. The baked goods were the best we have ever had!!! Thank you for making such great quality items.💕

Highly recommend. 10/10.
The best bakery experience I've had in Montreal. Came on a Sunday morning for coffee & to read, & it was perfect. The space has a charming, relaxed vibe-busy with people but not distracting. It felt organic & full of life.

The croissants were incredible, some of the best I've ever had. Buttery & flaky, you really want to savor every bite. Great selection of baked goods overall, & the coffee came in big mugs, which I love.

The staff were super friendly & attentive, patient with my English. Subtle background music added to the calm atmosphere. It's this nice mix of city energy & quiet charm.

I absolutely love this bakery! I've visited multiple times, & every experience has been wonderful. Their almond croissant & madeleine are my go-to treats-they're always fresh, flavorful, & perfectly made. The latte is also fantastic; even though it's a bakery, their coffee is seriously good & pairs perfectly with their pastries. On occasion, I've picked up a baguette, & it's always delicious-crispy on the outside & soft on the inside.

The moment you walk in, the smell of freshly baked goods is incredible-it's so inviting & comforting. The staff is friendly, the quality is consistently top-notch, & the whole experience is just delightful. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great baked goods & coffee!

This is my favorite boulangerie/ cafe in Montreal. Their baked goods are absolutely amazing, but the atmosphere & the vibe is even better. On the several times I went there, I witnessed a young woman employee be very friendly & lovely to many people, including a mentally ill man who sat in the place for a while. On another occasion, there was such a friendly gathering atmosphere among workers & some people who were stopping in from the neighborhood. I've lived in France & I would say it's the best part of French culture combined with the niceness of Canadians. There's also a huge amount of seating in the basement area.

So let me start with their bread. They are just absolutely delicious, always fresh & tasty. Made with local ingredients & their sourdough are just so tasty. I advice to take the bucheron bread. Now let's get to the pastries, they have great chocolatine but the best of best for me are their foundant chocolat. Just the right mix of half-baked & crusty. It melts in the mouth & the sugar isn't overpowering. Just amazing.
