Honestly, the coffee is excellent & the bagels are really very good. However, the customer experience was seriously affected by the fact that an employee was mopping right next to us while we were eating, with a very unpleasant smell. The odor was frankly disgusting & completely inappropriate in a space where customers are eating. Customer service was not good.
This is more of a take-out place than an eat-in place. They have a few tables for those who want to have a quick bite. Not a place for a nice relaxing meal.
They carry a wide, I mean wide, selection of bakery products, sandwiches, prepared sides, soups, drinks, & a variety of teas & coffee.

Such a nostalgic spot for me for many reasons. I used to work in the area & also went to school at Dawson so Bagels Greene was nearby. It was always my go to lunch spot! They offer a cafeteria like style or counter style food. There's so many options & lot of fresh items as well as serve yourself coffee.
I ordered the salmon lox bagel & it was stacked. I like to get capers in my bagel for a bit of saltiness umami. The bagel itself was delicious & the seasoning on it was good. They were generous with the smoked salmon so I appreciated that.
Wonderful hot vegetarian buffet during weekday lunch (marked with dairy use when present, so some vegan friendly choices)! Has cold vegetarian salads like fake chicken salad of various sorts. Friendly staff!
This is the closest to a NYC place you will find in Montreal but with more space to move around & sit less crowded. & they make their own bagels, more delicious & fresh, better bagels than NYC.
Bagels on the Green not only serves the most amazing bagels (the sesame ones are my favorite!) but also offers an incredible selection of prepared foods. One of my top picks is the Veggie Butter Chicken - it's absolutely delicious, & you'll be craving it after just one bite. If I lived closer, I'd be here every day! Thankfully I had some friends recently visit who were able to bring back a plethora of treats.
You won't find better-tasting bagels or a more tempting selection of prepared dishes anywhere. Highly recommend!!!
Legit one of the best Montreal-style bagels in the city. Let them put together one with salmon & capers for a great package. & they have pretty phenomenal smoothies, too!
Super endroit ! Les bagels sont frais, moelleux pis vraiment délicieux. Le personnel est sympathique pis le service est rapide. Parfait pour un bon déjeuner ou une petite pause café !

This place is so bad they're bagels are mid, the actual food like empanadas & samosas are literally so oily & old it made me sick & even if you do orders for pick-up for a specific time you probably will
wait another 20 minutes past that. Also the cashier lady has a little attitude so would not recommend unless you have absolutely no other option.
I always go to Bagel on Greens - they have one of the best smoked salmon bagels in Montreal. The bagel is fresh & tasty, & the salmon is always top quality. Definitely recommend this place!
