Bagel St-Lo specializes in the production of Montreal-style bagels, which are hand-rolled, boiled in honey-infused water, and baked in traditional wood-fired ovens. This method imparts a distinctive golden crust and a chewy, dense interior characteristic of the local culinary tradition. The establishment offers an array of seed-crusted varieties and essential accompaniments such as smooth cream cheese and smoked salmon slices. Beyond the core bagel menu, the café provides freshly ground coffee beans and curated beverage options to complement the savory dough-based items. The environment focuses on efficient service and the systematic preparation of staple baked goods for patrons seeking high-quality, authentic regional flour-based products. Every product adheres to the time-honored techniques of the trade, ensuring consistency and flavor profile integrity for those visiting this specific production site.

We felt so at home here! Food is creative, fresh & served quick. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly & responsive. We'll be back.
22/7/26: & we did come back! & the same ratings & comments apply! The café au lait decaf is the best I've had. The Eggs Benedict are super yum. Jess, who took care of our table, was wonderfully pleasant & solicitous. Thank you!
Had a really pleasant experience here from start to finish. The ordering process was quick, the staff treated us kindly, & the food was very satisfying. The environment also had a nice energy to it. I'd happily return & recommend it to others.
We had to make a quick overnight trip to Montreal, in the morning we had breakfast at tuiti fruit near the hotel. On our way home we decided since we were in Montreal we had to grab a bagel. Google suggested Bagel St-Lo Verdun. I felt the bagels were a bit small for the price. I liked the texture of the bagels.
I had the Italien
Mortadelle, salami de gênes, capicolle, provolone gratiné, moutarde au choix
I ordered the omlette sandwich which was an interesting experience, have never eaten this before. The omlette was fantastic & the sauce was great, but the sandwich lost it's format within a few bites. It got messy but it was enjoyable, even though I couldn't really experience the actual bagel amidst the other flavours going on. There was a generous spread of fruit on everyone's plate which added some value. I wasn't blown away by the meal itself to be honest but I was satisfied. No complaints on the service either, food was served quickly. What really redeemed this place for me were the few bagels I took with me. The cheddar one did not make it home, it was phenomenal. The other two bagels that did make it to my apartment were also of astounding quality. This place is pretty far from my top brunch spots but it might have become my favourite new bagel spot, the prices are pretty good compared to other gourmet bagels as well.
Really great food, super friendly staff. Cute inside & a terrace. The plates are decently sized & come with a pile of fresh fruit. The hollandaise sauce is super good & they give you a lot. You can even purchase some premade meals in the entrance as well as some wines. They have gluten free bagels on request as well. The home made raspberry lemonade is delicious & the coffee is good as well. Not a ton of menu options but what they do have is with it. Highly recommend going to this place if you are in the area, or even if you're not.
Pets are also allowed on the terrace which is a nice touch. Staff are quick & attentive.
Cute little spot, very cozy & at-home atmosphere. The breakfast bagels are good but not out of this world. Service was quick (pay before you eat), the place was busy but we were able to sit on Sunday early afternoon right away. If you're in the area, great option for a good quick sit down breakfast
love this place been coming here weekly for about a year now. Recently I have noticed their "quick menu" of just the real simpler ones has gotten a bit pricier. Didnt bother me too much as I notice them constantly renovating the place. What bothered me in the noticeable portion cuts as well. My BLT last week was weak & small, compared to the usual spilling of bacon. A different morning my bacon egg & cheese lacked as well. From a near 10-15% price increase with a cut in portions I'll just be coming in less often.
I'm new to the neighborhood, & I stopped by for a quick bagel & cream cheese & was delighted to find a quality product at a very reasonable price & great atmosphere & service. I'll definitely be back for more?
Lovely fresh bagels in the heart of Verdun. Came in with low expectations but left very happy & satisfied, will definitely be a returning customer. The service was extremely quick, we got our food within 5 minutes of ordering. We had the smoked salmon with cream cheese capers & red onion bagel, my favorite. We so had a an egg bagel with tomato cheese lettuce & mayo. Cappuccino was good as well.
