Excellent service des employés, on se sentait bien accueilli, pas pressé de finir de manger. La nourriture était délicieuse & authentique d'un fusion Vietnamienne & Bangladaise! On nous a offert du thé en attendant notre repas puisqu'il y avait une tempête de neige! Je recommande fortement & c'est très budget friendly!
Place is great for a mix for Bengali & Vietnam. The sandwich is super good & their appetizers are top notch. Hidden gem but definitely worth trying out.

Baan Lao is a hidden gem for Asian fusion in Montréal. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, & clearly made with care. Everything we tried was well-seasoned & balanced, with generous portions that actually leave you full.
The menu has a great variety (noodles, rice dishes, grilled items, & appetizers), so there's something for everyone, whether you like comforting classics or bolder flavors. The chicken & shrimp dishes were especially delicious, & the sauces really stand out.
Another big plus is that the food is halal, which makes it an easy & reliable choice. Service was friendly & efficient, & the place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Prices are very reasonable for the quality & portion size. Whether you're dining in or ordering takeout, Baan Lao is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!
Found this restaurant recently & jist tried it today. We had the chicken Bahn mi & beef Bahn me with chilies. Very tasty & the chillies are actually spicy!! Affordable & great customer service

I went there today with my friend, we had the beef pho, chicken pho & the entry for two that contained skewers of beef/chicken/shrimp & lamb, imperial rolls, chicken wings & fried potatoes. IT WAS INCREDIBLE!! The broth of the pho is so flavourful it hits perfectly, the seasonings of the skewers & its meat are so flavourful & tender it melted on our tongues. The food was a big 10/10, I've NEVER tasted such a delicious meal, I was in a flow state with my friend. The service was extremely fast, we didn't even wait long, the lady was incredibly charming & sweet, she made sure we were comfortable & didn't need anything. It was a fair amount that we paid too which is rare to see in Montreal, for such tender meat & flavourful food it definitely deserved its price! So so so perfect, we will DEFINITELY come back!! ❤?❤?❤?❤?
Lovely restaurant, the lady at the counter was very welcoming & I love that it's halal! I would highly recommend this place. The food was delicious of course 💗
