J'ai récemment visité Baan Lao pour leur buffet d'iftar pendant le Ramadan, & l'expérience était très agréable. Le buffet offrait une bonne variété de plats, tous frais & bien préparés. Après une longue journée de jeûne, c'était vraiment satisfaisant de trouver des plats chauds & savoureux.
Le personnel était très accueillant & serviable, & l'ambiance du restaurant était confortable & conviviale. L'endroit est propre & bien organisé, ce qui rend le repas encore plus agréable.
Dans l'ensemble, c'est un excellent endroit pour rompre le jeûne, & le prix du buffet est très raisonnable pour la qualité & la variété proposées. Je recommande cet endroit à toute personne cherchant un bon buffet halal pour l'iftar à Montréal.

This spot is in a residential neighborhood & feels like a true hidden gem. It's small, family-owned, & super welcoming. We got the combo for two & a chicken bánh mì, & everything looked amazing - & tasted even better.
The bánh mì was honestly the best I've ever had, & the whole meal was an easy 10/10. Hands down, this place beats a lot of Lao restaurants I've tried. Definitely feels like one of the best restaurants in town. Also, the food was halal.

?I had a great experience at Baan Lao. We ordered the grilled skewers & the fried rice, & everything was delicious. You can really taste that the ingredients are fresh-the vegetables were crisp & the meat was tender, not heavy or greasy.
?Another huge plus was the speed. The food came out fast enough for a busy day, making this the perfect spot if you are on a tight schedule but still want a high-quality meal. Highly recommend!

1st time I went I tried the beef & chicken Banh Mi & I was very satisfied. This time I went for a Pho Soup & I was satisfied of the the taste for a'Halal Vietnamese' fusion!
We came to taste halal pho & banh mi for the first time. It was really good!! Even got free tea. Lovely service.Prices are great too.BUT. We found hair in our banh mi :///// & something in our pho too. Mistakes can happen but i saw that it happened to other people too.

Première visite au Baan Lao & certainement pas la dernière ! C'est le seul resto à Montréal que je sache à proposer des pho halal, & franchement, c'était une belle découverte.
La soupe pho au boeuf était savoureuse & bien équilibrée, avec un bouillon riche & parfumé comme il faut. On a aussi pris des brochettes glacées pour notre enfant de 2 ans, il a adoré - c'était tendre, goûteux, parfait pour les petits comme les grands.
Quand au service ,c'etait chaleureux, ambiance agréable, & surtout un menu asiatique 100 % halal, ce qui est rare à Montréal.
Je recommande vivement Baan Lao, surtout si vous êtes dans le coin de Pointe-Saint-Charles.
The food was amazing. The beef skewers were fantastic, & the pho, both chicken & beef, were superb & truly tasted authentic, even down to having bean sprouts & basil for garnish. I love that they serve Salaam Cola! One of the co-owners was working front of house & was very kind, & the service was 110%
I wish this business could branch out to all provinces. When in Montreal, this place is a must, regardless of if you eat halal or not.
