This is such a charming little gem tucked away in the quaint neighborhood of St. Denis. The ambience is cozy, the service delightful, & the food absolutely delicious. Such a peaceful spot to unwind. Must recommend.

We had such a wonderful evening at Azalea restaurant. The perfect tapas menu & lots of gluten free options for those with allergies. The backyard terrasse is one of a kind & perfect for summer evenings. Attention to detail the perfect menu, service & venue. 5 stars rating all the way.

Menu's were brought out & we were not told until we went to order that half the menu was actually the lunch menu & not possible to order which wasn't made clear at the beginning.
We adjusted our choices & ordered. As the starters came out we were told that one of our main courses was not made & would not be ready for 1-hour so had to pick something else. We had a vegetarian & there were not many options.
We should have been told that the main was not available as we ordered as we would have gone somewhere else.
We ate the starter as it had already come out but it came accompanied by stale bread.
The hostess was in no rush to sort out the situation & was not happy when we cancelled the one main that was available.
Poor selection & lack of communication on what was available made for a very disappointing experience.

The two starters we did receive were tasty, but with most of the menu unavailable & service falling short, it was an overall poor dining experience.
We arrived & were given the menu without being told that more than half of it wasn't available. Halfway through the meal, the owner told us that most of our dishes weren't available so had to review the menu on the spot & she provided only a few options that were completely unsuitable
The bread was slightly off, & when my friend had no alternative dish, the server never came back to take a replacement order. Instead, they tried to serve me my main while my friend had nothing to eat.
We felt uncomfortable & decided to leave after the starter. But had to go to the kitchen to ask for the bill to leave. The atmosphere was lacking, with an additional distraction of a party setup happening right beside the dining area. When owner said'oh maybe next time' we made it very clear there would be no next time

J'ai découvert ce restaurant original & typique récemment, c'est super sympa & chaleureux, vous trouverez le goût original des repas & dessert iranien servi professionnellement. Fortement recommandé 👌🏻

I've been to Azalea a few times & have never been disappointed.
The food is prepared fresh & delicious, I highly recommend the tasting platter. You're able to sample the menu & enjoy a little of everything.
The service is outstanding, hosted by such a kind & welcoming couple.

J'ai organisé un baby shower pour une amie dans ce restaurant & je ne peux que le recommander à 100 % ! Nous avons eu la possibilité de privatiser l'endroit, ce qui nous a permis de le décorer à notre goût, & l'équipe a été d'une grande gentillesse & très professionnelle du début à la fin.
Ils ont facilité toute la logistique de l'événement, toujours disponibles pour répondre à nos besoins, & l'ambiance sur place était parfaite pour ce type de célébration intime & joyeuse. Les invités ont adoré l'endroit autant que moi !
Merci encore à Fanny & son personnel pour leur accueil chaleureux & leur flexibilité. Un lieu idéal pour tout événement privé!

Très belles saveurs, très bien pour decouvrir.
Je recommande d'y aller pour goûter les parfums, mais je ne suis pas certain que jy retournerai pour souper, car les portions sont assez minimales

Une belle expérience & un repas savoureux. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par une hôtesse agréable, souriante & adorable. Je recommande tous les plats & surtout la glace à la pistache en dessert. Les quantités de certains plats sont certes petit mais cela vaut largement le coût.

La meilleure endroit pour l'heure du thé aux saveurs perses que j'ai trouvé à Montréal! Cake yazdi comme celles de ma mère, les shirini nargili de mon enfance servi avec chai ou sharbat sur la belle terrasse à l'arrière. Merci pour l'accueil si chaleureux Fanny, on reviendra c'est sur!

Azalea was one of the first times I've tried persian food. My partner & I got the tasting menu that came with a variety of different foods to try.
For the yogurt platter, I really enjoyed the olives marinated in a sweet fruity sauce. I don't usually like olives, but this was amazing, especially with the bread.
My favorite part of the tasting platter was probably the eggplant with pomegranate seeds. The eggplant had a smokey flavor that I really enjoyed. Paired with the sweet bursts of the pomegranate was just so delightful.
Overall, I'm glad that I got to try food of different cultures, & I can't wait to explore some more.

Azalea is a hidden gem! The patio is beautiful, the food is full of flavor (especially the Chicken Tandoori), & the service is warm & welcoming. Definitely coming back! Superbe ambiamce!
