Beautiful restaurant with a fantastic view over Lake Memphramagog. The service was efficient & friendly & the fare was delicious. I highly recommend McGowans!!
Endroit très agréable, organisation de l'espace qui préserve l'intimité & permet d'avoir une vue sur le lac.
Service sympathique. Plats bons,parfois un peu chers. Carte des vins limitée mais prix raisonnables.

Auberge. The menu is however too eclectic for frequent dining - needs to add a chicken dish & a basic steak frites at least for a more mainstream bistro experience.

Personnel tout à fait à la hauteur , principalement le maître d'hôtel qui était entre autre très généreux de ses commentaires afin de nous faire connaître le parcours historique de ce magnifique site.
Le seul bémol de la soirée fut notre déception de ce qui sortait de la cuisine !
Au départ, des potages servis tièdes, par la suite, la qualité des plats servis étaient visuellement très bien, mais malheureusement le tout était gâché par une exécution qui manquait de finesse & surtout d'assaisonnement; joues de porcs braisées insipides en entrée & morue sans goût tout aussi fade.
Dommage, visuellement c'était très appétissant, malheureusement ça s'est arrêté là pour nous.
C'est peut-être un nouveau chef ...si c'est le cas, espérons qu'il améliore ses techniques surtout en assaisonnement & qu'il goûte à ses plats avant que ceux-ci sortent de la cuisine .

Malheureusement nous allions bruncher en famille, rien n'étais inscrit sur le site pour nous aviser que le brunch ne se faisait plus ...c'est très décevant !! Le lieu est par contre toujours aussi séduisant!
Très belle auberge située dans un site calme & enchanteur! & en restauration : superbe terrasse, choix variés, excellente ambiance, service efficace & courtois. Nous y retournons!
