The McGowan Inn opens its doors to a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a bar, where you can enjoy a drink or a good coffee. The adjoining dining room, completely glazed, and the large terrace offer a magnificent view of Lake Memphremagog. The Inn also offers a private room that can accommodate a group of 12 people for a meeting or for a meal taken in complete privacy.
Local products are featured, including fine herbs from the Inn's garden and organic vegetables from the Jardin du Quartier, which holds a farmers' market on Saturdays in Georgeville.

Service was very good. Lunch menu, while adequate was not up to standard I expected. fish & chips & hamburger were ordinaire for the price. Expensive beer.
I guess we are paying for the location, wich has been the same lovely place for decades.

Cet endroit est sublime de par son emplacement sur les rives du lac Memphrémagogog & son caractère privé. L'auberge recèle beaucoup de cachet & le volet historique est très bien préservé. Un régal pour les yeux & le palais!

Very nice restaurant, exceptionnal delicious food with a very nice presentation the personnal are very nice knows their products & give a very good description. The ambiance is like a fairy with a gorgeous view on the magnificient lake Memphremagog.

Beautiful setting with live music on Thursday evenings. Excellent service, wine list & octopus & cod cheeks was a beautifully presented & tasty dish. I would suggest adding a quinoia or other filling salad to the menu. Soup & salad would be a welcome alternative to a large meal from time to time.
Fruit dessert was sublime.

Nous étions un peu incertain ayant lu certains commentaires. Pour nous les commentaires étaient totalement erronés. D'abord le service avec Geneviève était excellent les explications du menu étaient très claires la suggestion de vin impeccable (importation privé). Un très bonne table a visiter & je la recommande. De plus le Maître d'hôtel Patrick voit a tout de façon professionnelle. Un travaille d'équipe exceptionnel.

Beautiful setting!! Highly recommend Lunch on the Patio.
Limited Dinner menu. Tho Pizza & Ricotts Gnocci were both delicious, we would like to see more choice. The "View" of the Harbor was worth it!!

Un restaurant qui offre un très beau cadre, aussi bien en salle qu'à l'extérieur. Une des très rares -sinon la seule-terrasse de resto avec vue sur le lac Memphrémagog, surplombant la charmante marina de Georgeville. Le menu du midi est original, les plats excellents & le service impeccable.
