How to get to Auberge McGowan, Magog

The McGowan Inn opens its doors to a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a bar, where you can enjoy a drink or a good coffee. The adjoining dining room, completely glazed, and the large terrace offer a magnificent view of Lake Memphremagog. The Inn also offers a private room that can accommodate a group of 12 people for a meeting or for a meal taken in complete privacy.

Local products are featured, including fine herbs from the Inn's garden and organic vegetables from the Jardin du Quartier, which holds a farmers' market on Saturdays in Georgeville.

Beautiful setting, wonderful re-do of the former inn. A brunch menu would have been nice, but the lunch menu selections were good. Service was pleasant.

Bel accueil, très belle terrasse, calme & vue sur le lac. Petit menu, mais choix intéressants . Très bon. A la table d'à côté, le serveur a présenté les plats du jour dès le début, notre serveuse ne l ‘a pas fait. Petit détail qui ne change rien à l ‘agréable moment que nous avons passé. Nous y retournerons pour le brunch en octobre.

Malheureusement nous allions bruncher en famille, rien n'étais inscrit sur le site pour nous aviser que le brunch ne se faisait plus ...c'est très décevant !! Le lieu est par contre toujours aussi séduisant!

Tout était sublime! De l'accueil au service jusqu'à la nourriture. Que dire de l'ambiance & le décor. J'y suis allé aussi au brunch dimanche dernier & c'était parfait également. Mention spéciale 5 étoiles au au chef.

Magnifique endroit, accueil chaleureux, excellent repas. Belle salle pour accueillir une douzaine de personnes, une bonne idée pour une fête de famille. Nous y retournerons souvent, c'est certain. Après tout, il faut essayer le brunch, puis la terrasse... ;-)

We went for brunch on boxing day, service was fantastic & our meals were delicious. We'll be booking dinner to celebrate birthdays in February.
