We chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday & it was well worth it. You can bring your own wine if you want which saves you money as they don't serve alcohol. I ordered the surf & turf & it didn't disappoint, the others ordered steak & again everyone was very happy with the quality of their meal. There were generous portions of delicious rice, potatoes & salad. The servers were very nice & accomodating & the atmosphere was calm & inviting. I would recommend this establishment & will be returning next time we're back in town.View more

Just came back from supper at Vieux Duluth, food was tasty, service was good, But Reading the Menu was very challenging, the writing was sooo small I had a really hard time reading it, & I had my glasses on, I got so frustrated I wanted to leave....wow is this what we have to look forward to in the future!! What a way to make the English community feel unwanted, unappreciated, & certainly disrespected 😣View more

Très agréable comme restaurant. Les prix sont bien pour la qualité de la nourriture. A l'air d'un restaurant super chic mais au final on peut s'en sortir facilement en bas de 50$ par personne. L'ambiance est bonne, c'est presque aussi vite qu'un fast food mais avec la qualité d'un restaurant & on peut manger bien. Un arrêt rapide, je suis entré & sortie en moins de 35 minutes. Pratique pour manger autre choses que de la malbouffe lors des déplacements. Un apportez votre vin, je propose qu'ils fassent des drinks sans alcool mais ce n'est pas offert.View more

Nous aimons beaucoup ce restaurant. Par contre, le service pour les commandes pour apportez effectuées en ligne est quelque peu déficient, à chaque fois que nous l'utilisons il semble y avoir des pépins. Mais pour le reste, ça demeure un excellent restaurant.View more

On a réservé une table pour 4 un soir de fin de semaine. Salle très bruyante, on a de la difficulté à s'écouter parler.... L'entrée de calmars est....juste passable.. Nos plats de crevettes sont bons. On règlent l'addition & on s'en va.... À 4 heures du matin, douleurs au ventre, vomissements & diarrhées! Un bel empoisonnement alimentaire..... 🤔🙄.View more

This wasn't the first time eating at this particular restaurant. But this will likely be my last one. There are other Au Vieux Duluth around I can go to, this is just the closest one. Tonight, was particularly loud & busy. But, that's to be expected for a Friday night. But we still had to wait to be seated (despite it bot being peak hours & there being many tables empty by this time), had to wait for our bread & water, & had to wait an additional 20 minutes after that to have them take our order. The appetizer was good. My wife always likes Calemari & she particularly enjoyed this one. The soup I had was also quite good. The wait staff were pleasant & friendly. But that's where the positive experiences end for the night. I decided to treat myself to their NY steak. The second most expensive menu item. This is the second time I've ordered that from this location. The last time was incredibly overdone & had to be sent back. Unfortunately this time was similar. While not as overdone, a medium steak came in closer to well done. I had it sent back again & a few minutes later they returned with another one. This one was now rare instead (remember I ordered medium), but decided not to fuss & accepted it. I can handle rare. But the second cut was incredibly bad. There was fat all throughout the steak & it was extremely tough. I tried to eat it but had to leave more than half untouched because it was just that bad. We complained again when they collected the plates, & I was ready to call it a night. my wife however wanted dessert, so we ordered some. They were fine as well, but nothing fancy. Finally, when the bill came, I was shocked to see they provided the desserts for free, but still charged me full price for the steak, even though I had eaten less than a quarter of my food, leaving a majority of the steak uneaten. Overall it was extremely disappointing & ruined an otherwise nice night with my wife out. I will not be returning to this location.View more
