Wow!!! This spot is a little gem in Montreal. Best sushi I've had, & they had wonderful service. Ordered a mix of maki, sashimi & nigiri & everything was phenomenal & very fresh. Atami has the best sushi in town. We have been eating there for more than 10 years & have not been disappointed. We always order the Chef's Choice; the sushi is fresh, the fish is tender, flavorful, a pleasant texture, & the Chef's Choice offers a great combination of flavors. Extremely happy to have found this place (thanks to google maps). Perhaps they could make it easier to spot for people walking down the street. It's very hidden & easy to miss, but once you get upstairs the restaurant is super charming. Great people & service too. We had a big sushi plate & salmon, which were both fab. Just delicious. It also has a terrace from the 2nd floor with a view on Cote-des-Neiges that I can't wait to try when the weather gets warmer. Ahhh I loved this spot!!!View more

J'avais l'habitude il y a 2 ans de me faire livrer du Atami (souvent le choix du chef à 35$/ppp) presque chaque vendredi soir. Selon ma dernière commande, cela ne sera plus une habitude.
Riz trop sucré, poissons odorants (même le pétoncle). Vraiment vraiment décevant.
Les prix restent plus qu'abordable. Au détriment de la qualité?
Intéressant: variétés de poissons offerts en sushi/sashimi (escolar, tai...). & service rapide & courtois.
Atami est mon "spot" à sushi. J'habite le quartier & j'y reviens souvent depuis plus de 15 ans! Les spécialités de la maison sont vraiment originales, les produits toujours frais & quelques sortes de saké importées rendent l'expérience très agréable pour les papilles & estomacs! J'y traîne mes ados à l'occasion & ils ne rechignent jamais...!
This is a fine Japanese restaurant located in Cote-des-Neiges. They have a varied menu & offer high quality, fresh fish. Be careful if you arrive during lunch, though, the sushi chefs are not to be rushed, so get there early if you have a meeting!
