Located in the food court. The hamburger was tasty well seasoned the hotdog however was a bit dodgy. The coleslaw was big cut with no flavor. The bun was dry & the hotdog had an odd aftertaste. Poutine did not have enough sauce & tasted burnt
extremely pricey poutine,a regular mini poutine for almost 12$?? plus the service was soooo slow, our friends finished their food already when i got my order.
Excellent experience at Ashton in the Mirabel Premium Outlets! We ordered the Ashton Double Burger & a regular poutine, & both were outstanding. The burger was juicy & perfectly seasoned - made with 100% Quebec beef, certified'Boeuf : Origine Québec' & sourced fresh (never frozen) through their partnership with local Quebec producers. Great bun-to-patty ratio, fresh toppings, not overly greasy.
The poutine hit all the right notes: crispy fries made from hand-cut Île d'Orléans potatoes, generous fresh-daily cheese curds with that perfect squeak, & a rich house gravy that wasn't too salty or too thin. However, for the size, I feel it is a bit expensive. For example, baby poutine was a bit more than 10$+tx.
Two things worth noting: the wait time for our order was quite long, so budget extra time if you're in a rush while shopping. Also, the cheese used on the burger tasted more like processed American cheese than a real cheddar - a small detail, but noticeable if you're expecting the sharper, more authentic cheddar flavor.
Overall still a solid stop for great poutine & a well-sourced burger - Ashton's Royale poutine was even named best in Canada at La Semaine de la Poutine 2025. Just be patient with the wait, & worth asking about their cheese options if that matters to you. Will likely be back, though hoping for quicker service next time.
