Pancakes. Wow. We were vsiting from Ottawa, & this place was recommended by friends. Apparently, this is the only location that takes reservations. The other location always has a long line-up (I would like up for the pancakes!). My sister had their shakshuka, & she said it was the best she ever tasted. The atmosphere had a great vibe. Our waitress was friendly, & very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend for brunch!

Excellent service, le staff est très sympathique! Une très belle ambiance pour un brunch entre amis. La nourriture & les cocktails étaient tout simplement délicieux! Nouveau « go to spot »! 🩷
Excellent service! Nourriture à la hauteur de nos attentes, & cadre fort agréable. Je recommande de revenir plusieurs fois pour goûter tous les plats. Nous avons passé un très bon samedi matin! 🌸
Get. The. Pancakes. They're so good. The texture is very unique, but they're awesome. The McArthur schnitzel sandwich & shmorgishborg were also amazing. The pancakes are filling, & sharing between 2-4 people is a nice'dessert'. The service was actually top-notch. It's in Cathcart (like an upscale food court), but it has its own section. It's kind of loud, but not too bad. For 1 main & 1/4 pancakes it was $27 before tip. You can make reservations at this Arthur's which you can't at the other.
I come to Arthur's at cathcart every Friday after school. I went with my friend today & we ordered the same thing we get every time - salami sandwich, tuna melt, & syrniki. The salami sandwich & tuna melt were both awful. Salami sandwich had too much mustard, & barely any coleslaw. Tuna melt was still cold, bread was no good, & the tuna was dry- it was not mixed with the sauce!!!! The syrniki were still delicious, but there was barely any maple syrup as if Arthur's started cutting costs.... If this had been my first time at this location, I would have never returned. Disappointing to say the least.
Pretty overrated in my opinion. Kitchen service is slow, even early when it's not full. The pancakes are indeed good but ruined, in my opinion, by being drowned in a deep pool of questionable table syrup (certainly not maple) that make them too soggy & too cloyingly sweet.

I am a big fan of Arthur's, I have been many times to the original location. The pancakes aren't as good as the original location. Also, can you get better coffee ?
