That said, everything else was great. The cottage cheese pancakes were delicious, & the latke special tasted good with a nice side salad. Kind of a longer wait time for the food arrive though. Service was very friendly & attentive without being overbearing. A solid spot with good vibes.View more
I reserved a table for my girlfriend & me, & we were served very quickly. The service was excellent, especially from Alexis, who took great care of us with superb attention. The food was delicious we had pancakes, French toast, a filter coffee, & a mocha which fully justifies the 5 stars for both cuisine & service.
However, I gave 2 stars for the ambiance. The floor manager, Frédérick, kept ringing a small bell multiple times with every order while shouting'Service!' loudly. It created a tense atmosphere, & we could clearly see the waitstaff becoming stressed by it. The energy around the kitchen felt heavy, as his stress & frustration seemed to affect the whole team. I believe the manager should consider a calmer, more respectful way to signal that an order is ready. It would greatly improve the overall dining experience & support the staff's well-beingView more
Best pancakes of my life, simply amazing. I gave 4 because they placed me at a bar table while half of the tables were empty, I don't like that. Ah, & it's expensive, like 30$ for two pancakes with tip&tax, but it's ok you can see their menu online before going.View more
We tried the Mcarthur Sandwhich, the Morrocan Toast, the Latke Special, & the Cottage Cheese Pancakes. Everything was delicious.View more

Nous avons adoré l'assiette au gravlax, vraiment plaisant en famille, ils sont équipé pour les bébés ce que j'ai apprécié, bonne ambiance & excellent service de Gabriel qui était très sympathique! Stationnement juste en face . Pancake 10/10View more
After hearing rave reviews about Arthur's Nosh Bar, especially their famed cottage cheese pancakes, we were excited to finally visit the location at Le Cathcart. We happened to be nearby, hungry, & eager to see if it lived up to the hype. Although we didn't have a reservation, we managed to snag a table despite the restaurant being quite full. I would recommend making a reservation, as it's clearly a popular spot, & for good reason. Upon seating us, the staff politely let us know that the kitchen was closing in ten minutes. However, they assured us that as long as we placed our order quickly, we could take our time to enjoy the meal. This kind of thoughtful service left a great first impression. We ordered mimosas to start while we waited for our food. We opted for a selection of their most popular dishes: latkes, fries with malt vinegar, scrambled eggs, &, of course, the famous cottage cheese pancakes. Everything arrived promptly, & the quality of the food was outstanding. Each dish was flavorful & carefully prepared. The latkes were crispy & perfectly seasoned, the scrambled eggs were soft & creamy, & the fries with malt vinegar were a delightfully nostalgic touch. The pancakes truly stole the show-light, fluffy, & packed with flavor, they more than lived up to their reputation. The portions aren't overly large, but that's part of the charm-it encourages ordering a variety of dishes to share, which worked out perfectly for us. If you're visiting with another person, I'd highly recommend going this route to sample more of their delicious offerings.View more
Le meilleur brunch ! À déguster : oeufs & salami, saumon gravlax, & pour finir, le fameux pancakes en dessert !View more
Best brunch place downtown, & for many reasons! Located in the heart of downtown with a beautiful spot in PVM, it is way bigger than their other location, & always the option of sitting in the cathcart. Amazing food, the pancakes, salmon & breakfast sandwich are definitely the best plate on the menue. I also recommend trying their coffee menue, their vanilla latte are delicious !finally, the staff is very helpful & can easily make you navigate through their high quality menue.View more
We ordered a Latke smograsbord, I like the scrambled egg of it, which is creamy, but the bread was too hard. The other one we order was pancake with buleberry, the pancake was normal & the sauce was too sweet for me. envirnment was good, you can choose a place under the transparent roof & enjoy the sunlight.View more
Nothing more to say than they have the best pancakes I've ever tried! The Syrniki (cottage cheese) pancakes are amazing, & the syrup makes them even better. Personally, I think the service was quite average & a bit slow, but the food is well worth it.View more
Best pancakes in Montreal. Just as good as the original location with shorter wait times & located centrally downtown. Still encompasses similar atmosphere & vibes of the original location but in a much more modern way. Order the Syrniki original & strawberries, & I prefer the original. I think the strawberry is a bit over powering. Pancakes with the syrup are the perfect balance of salty & sweet. Service was very average & not great. However, the food is well worth it.View more
I think the pancakes are just as amazing as the og location, & this spot is very convenient since they can have more guests & it's not insanely crowded. Though the atmosphere of the og can't be beat in homeliness, cathcart is a nice space & great service 🙂↕️ My absolute favorite pancakes in the city, i get syrup on the side however since it can be a little artificial tasting imo & I like to control the proportions. I recommend the latke always as wellView more
The food is good here. The menu changes a little bit from time to time & unfortunately it's not flexible at all. We wanted the eggs & salami to be as a sandwich, but they refused to fix it the way we wanted. The pancakes weren't as crispy as they should be. The coffee is tasteless, but it's the only coffee they have.View more
I have been to both locations & though I do think the original location has better quality food, the location & PVM is convenient for those who work downtown. I do caution however it is very hard to find if you've never been to the new food court at PVM. I like that this location allows you to make reservations, however if you do not show up there potentially could be a fee charged to you since you need a credit card to hold your reservation. Despite the location, this restaurant was very baby & kid friendly & the hostess sat is in an area where we were able to easily store our double stroller, which was much appreciated. The service was also a big slow but we came during lunch rush so it was understandable. The latke smorgasbord is a must for your first visit as well as the cottage cheese pancakes. My sons who are 2 & 4 are everything!View more
Great comfort food, great service. The pancakes are to die for! Zac is the best!View more
Pancakes. Wow. We were vsiting from Ottawa, & this place was recommended by friends. Apparently, this is the only location that takes reservations. The other location always has a long line-up (I would like up for the pancakes!). My sister had their shakshuka, & she said it was the best she ever tasted. The atmosphere had a great vibe. Our waitress was friendly, & very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend for brunch!View more
Great food, great vibes & great staff. The pancakes are insane.View more
get the pancakes i almost fainted eating themView more
Get. The. Pancakes. They're so good. The texture is very unique, but they're awesome. The McArthur schnitzel sandwich & shmorgishborg were also amazing. The pancakes are filling, & sharing between 2-4 people is a nice'dessert'. The service was actually top-notch. It's in Cathcart (like an upscale food court), but it has its own section. It's kind of loud, but not too bad. For 1 main & 1/4 pancakes it was $27 before tip. You can make reservations at this Arthur's which you can't at the other.View more
Pretty overrated in my opinion. Kitchen service is slow, even early when it's not full. The pancakes are indeed good but ruined, in my opinion, by being drowned in a deep pool of questionable table syrup (certainly not maple) that make them too soggy & too cloyingly sweet.View more
Speaking as someone who's not crazy about pancakes in general, the pancakes are amazing & definitely the best I've ever tastedView more
I am a big fan of Arthur's, I have been many times to the original location. The pancakes aren't as good as the original location. Also, can you get better coffee ?
This place is a must-try! Totally worth the drive. The pancakes boast an extraordinary flavour , unlike anything I've experienced before. Still drooling just thinking about them. Can't wait for my next visit!View more
Best breakfast place in Montreal. Their pancakes are heavenly.View more
View more
Pros: the food was very good, especially the pancake. The space is nice & I like that we can make a reservation for brunch. Con: from the moment I arrived it was off to a bad start. When I arrived, there was a lady, I assumed the hostess, standing at the door & looking down at something. Not once did she look up to greet me or acknowledge my presence in any way. It wasn't until a guy came from the other end of the restaurant, walked toward me & greeted me. He looked down exactly where the lady was looking & then walked me to my table. Not sure what the lady was doing, but a simple "Hi, just a moment" would have been sufficient. Soon after I was seated, the waiter greeted me & brought some water, which is good. My friends came soon after that, & by the time they settled in & looked at the menu, it was a while before the waiter came to see us. We actually had to call him to our table. At this point, the restaurant was not so crowded, so not sure why it took so long. We had questions about the menu - it was our first time. After a few back & forth, we finally placed our order, & that's when the waiting game really began. While we waited, two groups arrived & were seated at the tables in the same row as ours. Some time went by before we received the order of pancakes & one of my friends received their plate. We assumed the other two plates would arrive momentarily. But they did not. In fact, one of the tables that arrived after us got their order before us. At that point, we called the waiter to ask how much longer we would have to wait. He went to the kitchen to check & came back to inform us that a mistake was made. He apologised & offered us mimosas & dessert on the house. We were grateful, but the fact remained that were hungry & had been waiting a while for our dishes. Overall, although I am curious to try the other items on the menu, I will definitely think twice before coming back.
