Taken together, reviews portray Arte & Farina as a bright, cozy Italian bakery and cafe with a strong focus on authentic pastries and high quality ingredients. The panettone is repeatedly praised for being light and flavorful, with several tasters calling it among the best in the city, and the desserts such as bomboloni and tiramisu are noted as standout items. The coffee and espresso are described as solid, and the Margherita pizza is praised for its flavorful topping and perfect crust, while the porchetta sandwich on focaccia with a zesty pickled spread also gets compliments. The atmosphere is described as pleasant and welcoming with Italian music and ample natural light, ideal for a casual bite, a coffee break, or a relaxed brunch. Service receives mixed marks: many reviewers find it friendly and helpful, while a few report inconsistent attentiveness, especially when the cafe is quiet or busy, and there are occasional critiques about price, limited lunch options, or items that do not meet expectations.

Discovering this place was such a happy accident. Beautiful food, desserts, & coffee in a bright & vibrant environment. I had a latte & a piece of tiramisu (YUM!). I would definitely recommend this café to anyone.
Arte & Farina is a true gem for anyone craving authentic Italian bakery & café fare.
The menu is a dream for pastry lovers, featuring standout items like bomboloni (Italian doughnuts filled with custard or Nutella), Roman-style pizzas, & focaccia sandwiches-especially the porchetta, served on fresh focaccia with a zesty pickled spread.
The service is friendly, quick, & informative, making you feel right at home. The café's ambiance is perfect for a relaxed brunch, a coffee break, or picking up some artisanal Italian products for your pantry.
Overall, Arte & Farina is a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Italy in Montreal. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat, a savory sandwich, or simply a cozy spot to enjoy a coffee, this place delivers with passion & authenticity.
If you're looking for a spot with good music & good vibes in The Village, this is the place. Plenty of seating, lots of natural light, & water & bathrooms for customers. It's also one of the few places I've been to with a manual espresso machine, which adds a nice touch. The staff is friendly as well. I would say it is pricier than other cafes but not by much.

We enjoyed our afternoon coffee here, ordering two single espressos, & I must say the taste & quality were exceptional. The barista was friendly & respectful, making the experience even better. The café offers a great view of the street, & despite the many large windows, the air conditioning kept the space cool & comfortable.
Beautiful cafe specializing in Italian imported specialties. The owner & chef is passionate about the quality of products & what he provides to customers. He carefully selects items to bring from his home country, striving to provide an authentic experience with his Italian treats. This is the place with the best panettone, pizzas, pasta, & bomboloni. I've seen the place transform from more humble beginnings in a different location to this new establishment. The coffee is great, & it's a nice place to come for an aperitivo with friends & enjoy some Italian treats.

A very nice cafe/bistro on Ste Catherine street east of downtown. High ceilings & large spaces. They serve delicious coffee & pastries. You'll also find traditional Italian pizza (forno style, cut in squares). The service was good, tables spacious & clean. There are products available for purchase like pasta, sauces etc.
J'y retournerai certainement
No menu no price tag, very strange layout of the store. It is a store that sells Italian food, not a cozy cafe shop where customers are welcome to sit down. Funny part is they have bunch of chairs & tables, but they don't have Wifi ? In 2024? Bought an Expresso & was asked for tip. What a joking place.
