Little disappointed as we had high expectations about arepas & the dishes at this restaurant were not on line with its word by mouth reputation. Maybe it is not the business fault, because my past experience was with arepas hand made in person by a good chef. We all know food products sometimes need to be done with a standardized process instead of a too costly customised one. Dessert made justice of everything, they were really good. Service was ok. The environment was ok too with the exception of the restroom which for me has to be extremely cleaned.View more

Arepera has been a staple for me for a while now, so it's about time I finally wrote a review. Their avocado sauce is so good I'd give up my first born child to know the recipe. You can't go wrong with any of the arepas, but my favorite might be pabellon (with beans & plantains). This is a must try location!!! Also great for gluten free folks as arepas are made with corn.View more

I get the Domino Platano with Avocado every time. It's a really filling, affordable, & authentic vegetarian option always made fresh with the loveliest consistencies. It tasted divine when drenched in the chili & avocado sauces. Also such a cozy spot with fast & kind service.View more

Totally recommend this place. They used to be on rue Duluth, but they have now moved to rue Prince-Arthur to a much more spacious location. Food is authentic & tasty. You can see that the owner keeps an eye on the service & the food quality, I think that is one of the reasons why they've been so successful. We have now moved to the Laurentides, but we always try to stop at the Arepera whenever we go downtown. If you haven't tried it, you are missing out!View more
