The Archibald microbrewery is delicious panini platters, whisky BBQ chicken wings and hearty breakfasts. It’s also “hunter’s platters” that will satisfy even the most voracious appetites. But above all, Archibald is some ten artisanal brews that are out of this world: La Matante, La Joufflue, La Brise du lac, La Ciboire, La Choute, La Tite’Kriss, La Weiss and more! It’s a date!
Reviewers describe Archibald as a reliable go to spot at the Montreal airport for both breakfast and light meals, with many noting fast, friendly service and a warm chalet like atmosphere. The food is generally solid and often praised for flavor and generous portions, with standout items including smoked meat sandwich, poutine, burgers, and a salmon salad, and onsite beer from the brewery. Several say the prices are high but understandable for airport dining, and portions can be uneven with some dishes feeling light or the fries cold. Service is frequently described as attentive, efficient, and cheerful, though a few experiences report slow or less courteous service and one reviewer noted issues with getting a table or timing before boarding. Reviewers also appreciate the openness for dietary needs with gluten free options and careful handling to avoid allergens. Overall Archibald is seen as one of the better airport dining options in Montreal, a reliable stop before a flight, with a lively atmosphere and consistently good drinks.
My go to place when at YUL. Good food. Definitely expensive but I'm not the one paying so can't complain. Good place to have a nice meal & sit & catch your breath.

I was served by Christian & I asked if the buns had eggs because I have an egg allergy. He informed me that the buns say'may contain eggs' which is something I never worry about so I ordered the burger. He then came back to let me know that the new buns actually contain eggs, so I ordered the burger with lettuce. It was very nice of him to double check, & he even had the manager bring me my food & tell me it was all safe to eat.
They went above & beyond to make sure my meal was safe to eat, which is more than almost every restaurant does.
Service à l'aéroport pas terrible, pas très courtois, rapide oui par contre, ne demande jamais si tout y est! Applications pour les points Archibald ne fonctionne pas ! Bref je vous recommande d'aller ailleurs !

Really impressed with this team! Great space, service was awesome & everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals.
As a celiac travelling in airports it's always a gamble. This was a great experience. They have a GF menu & while limited you could tell they take it seriously. I had half order of nachos with chicken which hit the spot. The manager delivered the food to reassure they took precautions. He actually mentioned his dad was one of the first people diagnosed with celiac in Montreal in the 70s. Really appreciated the extra effort & the cider was delicious too. Thanks so much!
We had the Goat cheese burger & the Archibald flank steak.
The burger was good. Tasty & good portion size. Fries were not crispy.
The Archibald steak was good but definitely not 8oz as advertised, size was really small. Also tomatoes on the size salad were rotten. I don't recommend this dish for $41!
Service was efficient & fast & the restaurant has a nice atmosphere with good looking decor.
