Perfect pre-flight stop!
Grabbed a bite at Archibald before my flight & was seriously impressed. I was there with my wife & kids. The smoked meat sandwich & poutine were amazing, & the local beer was a nice bonus. My server, Elsaco, was awesome - they explained their name is a combo of two people, & you could tell they made a great team. One was more serious, the other more funny - perfect balance! Super friendly service without feeling rushed. Definitely coming back next time I'm at YUL.View more
The one redeeming feature of my journey, in which Air Canada failed to make their own connection & robbed me of a night's sleep in the process, was the pint & poutine I had at this restaurant. Super friendly barman tooView more
Service nickel ! Ambiance sympa avec TV & diffusion du Super Bowl, poutine bonne. Probablement un des meilleurs spot de l'aéroportView more
Archibald's offers a perfect pit stop-quick service that fits your flight schedule, paired with a laid-back vibe to ease travel stress. We stopped in this place to grab a bite to eat. They made sure we had at least 40 minutes to dine before seating us for service. Jessica was our waitress, knowledgeable about the robust menu, & attentive. The food arrived in about 10 minutes. If you are looking to just try poutine, it was decent & comforting, but not anything to rant about. Beefy, bacon-filled burgers seem to be the fail-safe option. I enjoyed the juicy brew, which is passion fruit & other light flavors that paired well with the poutine. Archibald's is a great choice for a quick & satisfying meal before your flight-definitely worth a stop.View more
$80CDN for 3 beer & a shared poutine. Not good value in my opinion. The poutine portion was extremely small.View more
Efficace & rapide. La poutine vaut la petite pause pour la dévorer !View more
Breakfast poutine is delicious at okay price for airport But the archibald burger has no taste to it, fade patty & condiments, at an exhorbiting price for flat beer , it feel they went dry in 58$ for 1 pint & burger ouchView more
This was quite possibly the saddest smoked meat sandwich I've ever had in Montreal. The bread was supermarket mass-produced light rye. The meat was actually sliced pastrami, also from the supermarket. The coleslaw? Bagged coleslaw mix from the supermarket. The fries? Frozen McCain fries from the supermarket. I will try to say something nice. The fries weren't greasy, & the beer was excellent. We ordered a glass of the bock. My kid's fish & chips was also lacklustre. But the poutine looked & tasted pretty good. Just don't get the Montreal smoked meat here ever.View more
Worst smoked sandwich I've ever had. But the bartender was funny & the beer is amazing & honestly eating in airports sucks enough as it is so I'll keep coming here every time & just get poutine next time cuz it looked really good from the person next to me.View more
I personally found this place a bit overpriced for what they offer but I guess it is the price the travellers pay while sitting at the gate. $24 for Montreal smoked meat sandwiches. $24 for smoked meat poutine. $11 for a small pint. I also found the service quite slow. The food came out fast but I had to wait for a while to get my bill paid. I had time to spare for my next flight but it would have been frustrated otherwise. The atmosphere was good.View more
Decent burger - poutine was not great given the city. Service was great however food was extremely expensive.View more
Un bon endroit pour manger en attendant son vol. La poutine est OK pour un aéroport, le service est speed mais correct & les prix sont un peu chers mais c'est correct pour un aéroport.View more
Service was fast & extremely friendly. Poutine, for airport food, was fantastic. Would go by if we were hungry waiting for our flight.View more
Great place while we waited for connecting flight. Comfortable chairs. I had the shrimp tacos which had fresh ingredients & were very tasty. I also upgraded the fries to poutine. The poutine was very good. I am not a poutine expert but being from Alabama I know fries, gravy, & cheese. My wife had the mushroom ravioli & it was like a fine dining entree. Our waiter, Maxton, was very friendly & knowledgeable, he quoted us well on what to eat!View more
