Stopped by to get a bite to eat (& a drink). I ended up having the Smoked Meat sandwich & my wife had a Shepherd's Pie (with shredded roast beef ... nice bonus touch).
The waiter, Mike R., provided excellent service, proposed an excellent choice of beer.
So if you plan ahead stop by, relax & enjoy a meal & drink.View more

Perfect pre-flight stop!
Grabbed a bite at Archibald before my flight & was seriously impressed. I was there with my wife & kids. The smoked meat sandwich & poutine were amazing, & the local beer was a nice bonus. My server, Elsaco, was awesome - they explained their name is a combo of two people, & you could tell they made a great team. One was more serious, the other more funny - perfect balance! Super friendly service without feeling rushed. Definitely coming back next time I'm at YUL.View more

I had the prosciutto pizza & a lager beer for dinner & unfortunately the meal was not great. The pizza was too salty, with too much cheese & prosciutto & the beer was overpriced at $14 dollars for 20oz pint. The service was great & attentive but sadly the meal was a bit disappointing. Overall my meal was over ~$50 including tip for myself.View more

Situated conveniently in the airport. Food quality was typical bar food. Pricey for small portions. Super busy, long line up. Wide assortment of food & beer for all ages & interest. Enjoyed the visit. Staff looked overworked & short handed, but still got the job done all things considered. Was here for a stopover.View more

Breakfast poutine is delicious at okay price for airport But the archibald burger has no taste to it, fade patty & condiments, at an exhorbiting price for flat beer , it feel they went dry in 58$ for 1 pint & burger ouchView more

This was quite possibly the saddest smoked meat sandwich I've ever had in Montreal. The bread was supermarket mass-produced light rye. The meat was actually sliced pastrami, also from the supermarket. The coleslaw? Bagged coleslaw mix from the supermarket. The fries? Frozen McCain fries from the supermarket. I will try to say something nice. The fries weren't greasy, & the beer was excellent. We ordered a glass of the bock. My kid's fish & chips was also lacklustre. But the poutine looked & tasted pretty good. Just don't get the Montreal smoked meat here ever.View more

Worst smoked sandwich I've ever had. But the bartender was funny & the beer is amazing & honestly eating in airports sucks enough as it is so I'll keep coming here every time & just get poutine next time cuz it looked really good from the person next to me.View more

The reviews are true, the food & service are superior to any other airport restaurant I've been to. I had the smoked meat sandwich which came with fries, coleslaw & a pickle for good measure! The beers on tap were $13/pint for anyone reading as it's difficult to find pricing. The staff were so kind & attentive but not at all pushy. I said to one of them, I feel at home here & she genuinely replied with a warm smile & thank you. The manager, Paul was also great to chat with & I had a nice conversation with him. I highly recommend this restaurant to other local guides looking for a bite to eat. I wish they were open a little later but this could be due to airport regulations.View more

Can't speak for the food, but great variety of beer & drinks. Loved the Valkyrie beer 🍺, very reasonable priced for a 35 ounce mug. Service & atmosphere was great & energetic. Perfect place to stop before a flight.View more

A really nice & comfortable / cozy place - very surprising for an airport. The saumon satay dish (Thai salad with teriyaki salmon) was awesome. Had a few different house beers - all great. Highly recommended.View more

Great spot in the airport. Belle Mare is one of my favorite IPAs. Food is good. Got a smoked meat Sammy & definitely had better. The meat was shaved very thin which is new to me. Was ok. Fries were tasty. That said, go for the beer ;)View more

My wife & I had a long wait for our plane so we opted to settle in here. It was right across from the gate.
We had to wait in a line, even though the restaurant was almost empty. I think it was a changeover from breakfast to lunch. We waited over 15 minutes. I'm sure they could have handled that differently.
When finally seated, we didn't quite know what we wanted to order for drinks. The server came back over 10 minutes later. The beer I wanted was not in stock (Tite Cream).
We shared a burger & fries. It was okay, but nothing memorable.
While we were waiting/eating, I noticed the wait staff all hanging out in the back of the restaurant, doing nothing. I have no problem with that but it was in the middle of the restaurant! They finally dispersed but I did find it unappealing.
I may go here again if I'm ever at that gate area, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.View more
